I like to wait until right before closing on the day of whatever holiday or 2 to 3 days after lesser holidays and make a deal for what will be clearance items. The battery light strings or light up balloons (use the balloon for coloring the light or throw it out and keep the light🤷🏽♂️. Shaped light strings are great anyway. You can always cut them down (keeping the part connected to to the battery) heat shrink stuff for exposed wires are hella cheap + bic lighter if you're not a smoker.🤷🏽♂️ Portable dremel for removing/sanding what you want to remove so u can prime and re doit or if it's large enough to cut smaller desings from. I love after Valentine's day, christmas and Halloween. Sometimes mother's day
One of my favorite dollar stores the manager i knew would let me do day after holiday, clearance, or broken anything and we made a deal... She would price it all so i could agree or disagree and we'd go thru it together. What i said no to she set aside. The deal was if i agreed to enough to equal $8 i got everything else for nothing. So $8 was her way of getting me to try hard to clean out her store for her😂🤣

Hi Mary! Most of these you can make with your Joy :) The larger signs would be harder, but the height of the signs aren't much larger than the width of a Joy. :) I also did my entire garage with Joy projects for organization if you'd be interested in that: th-cam.com/video/fxeL-00XhRE/w-d-xo.html
Mary, I do the same thing...I always say "I only have the Joy" ....I started with the cards of course...but I took the leap to vinyl and I love it!! I can't get it to cut cardstock that is on the mat and not actually cards...even put in a new blade...acck..!! Hahahaha...good luck with your Joy Mary!! 😁 Whit's videos are awesome, great direction!!
Love your projects…couple of thoughts…when making signs with trays put a ribbon, 1/4” wood trim etc so the handles don’t show, I like to weed out letters then use what you normally weed as a stencil.
I love your DIYS Whitney guuuuurrrlll. You're fantastic. I love the little tags you made for your little ones toys . Adorable. I use LePage 's wood glue and I just love it. Just wanted to say hi and idk if there's much price difference but I know that gorilla glue isn't cheap and btw I got my glue free on the side of the road brand new. Totally! You can also do the same process with DT stencils too if you don't want to have to cut the stencil/if you don't have a Cricut. Tons of options with that cream 🙌

Yes I just got Joy for Christmas trying things out.
The Joy is way more capable than you might think, you can split images and apply in sections to be able to cut on the smaller machine !

I love the dollar tree vinyl. I make window decals for my truck with it (only in white so the color doesn’t fade)
