Since glycans cannot be labeled with genetically-encoded reporters such as GFP, bioorthoganal reactions have been developed to allow their labeling and imaging. In this lecture, Bertozzi describes the chemistry and imaging methodology used to view glycoproteins in cells and whole organisms. See more at www.ibioseminars.org

Down under, we would say "bloody marvellous" and so clearly presented. Also wondering if the imaging techniques could be applied to the Haeme metabolic pathway.

Why would we have to measure the the second order rate constant? I'm just curious.

Metabolic, as opposed to genetic, labeling. (8:25,25:00)
    14:14 Molecular, not ionic, azides.

    47:00 In vivo imaging.

If suggers or glycome is dynamic in nature, with response to host cell, why our blood type does not change? if they menifest blood type.

I think is related to your genome who encode for the specify enzyme that are responsible to specifies the sugar on the blood cells

This lecture will help me greatly with many attributes concerning my health and endurance. I can see how supplementing with monosaccharides could increase the number of glycomes in my cells which would allow for cells to easily differentiate into muscle cells or create a balanced state between cell to cell communication. I am curious if there is a lecture that elaborates more on the enzymes that help produce glycomes in the Er and Golgi?

Not sure what ur on about. Of course no obe is interested in porohyrins and related sugars, which is why porohyrics suffer fir years unnecessarily.

This will never lead to anything and she will never see recognition. Wait... There is news
