Thanks very much for this drive through . My family and I lived here for a while back in 1954 and I did my schooling in Bandra (1954-1964) and then moved on. Even back then it was known as the " jewel of the suburbs" . What I saw in your wonderful drive through doesn't bear much resemblance to my memories , obviously . Could only identify a couple of places . The place looks beautiful . Back then it was much laid back , almost sleepy and had a wonderful charm of it's own.
was born in this beautiful suburb and still stay here except south mumbai walkeshwar kalbadevi excluded no place in the city as beautiful and vibrant as bandra west thks anuj for this wonderful vlog on lovely bandra west
Hi this is Nav from Sydney Australia,I have been to Mumbai once but next time please can we have local person giving us guided tour of your city please,we will pay them ,we like to stay like locals because last time we had guide but he was only showing us main things.
Malabar Hill is a neighborhood in Mumbai’s city district, whereas Bandra is a suburb in Mumbai’s suburban district. While Malabar Hill is a better place to live than Bandra, Bandra still is the finest “suburb” of Mumbai. Just my opinion, hope it makes sense. 😊
@@AnujN Understood so you meant suburb in the colloquial "suburbs" sense as in anything beyond Mumbai city district where the autos run. Then, I 100% agree with you. I thought you meant suburb in the neighbourhood context.
