Waiting with interest, when there are more Dagon robots in the game, because you can't put a shield breaker on every robot, and shield regeneration is pretty quick on Dagon. + Northlight.
@@VaiL_Judge Crisis with Decay is far deadlier than Gauss. You should see how fast I kill Ophions or anything with a shield and Decay has a very fast reload too with the 3rd shot hitting hardest.
I was using a Siren with cestus and a Crisis with decay before this robot was announced LOL! And as far as i can tell yes it does work pretty well (in Champion League) But both Robots are pretty Fragile and the Dagoon has a LOT of Firepower which means most of the times you might be able to kill one but the new Tamer weapons will destroy both of these bots in 1 Second. So i would say Something with high Damadge burst together with Thor Mothership (like Gauss etc)
@@Aleksi_Kaidonovski makes me wonder, what other weapons are just tweaked older sounds? I'm sure some titan walking sounds are tweaked from robots. Like Kid, Revenant, and GI Patton are the same.

mag nether is arguably one of the best builds now, it was already good but now with the nerfs the range of magnetar is probably the best thing also everett is insane to pair with them
I think robots with the Stake , Spike and Needle like the Fenrir or Mender or Erebus or Typhon cuz the Fenrir is tanky , Mender can heal back up , and the Erebus or Typhon can EMP after knocking down the shield since they have strong firepower . Or like you said , the Decay . If that's the case I would root even more for the Erebus and Typhon since the Erebus can hold 3 and the Typhon can run the medium weapon , the Hazard , which you recommend for it in your previous video yesterday , 5 robots you should build .
That can still work. I prefer to keep weapons similar though as you'll be more focused. Players like using mixed weapons (probably because they don't have the full set yet which is "ok") but when you have one weapon with 200m range and the other 350m plus the firing mechanics are different you'll find yourself thinking about those things during a fight more than the actual fight itself. Think of it this way. When I play your build I have to remember only to fire the Mace when the enemy gets to within 350m. If I fire the Devastator as well then by the time I get to 200m the Devastator will be reloading and firing a lot slower since I wasted those shots. When I finally get within 200m most of my damage is coming from the Mace not really the Devastator as the rate of fire has slowed down significantly. If I had been using Devastator-Havoc I will know to fire at the 200m mark. Not only will I be hitting harder but I don't have to worry about ranges as much since I know all weapons fire at 200m. I'm not sure if the above examples makes sense? This is why a lot of top players don't really use hybrid builds - they keep things simple.
Gonna be honest, the one thing that sorta hard counters heavy fast hitters & especially because Dagon has six weapons, arguably the thing that will hurt a Dagon that doesn't stop shooting is going to be almost anything with an Invincibility Shield. Unless they run Shield Breaker, Dagon is gonna find itself in a world of hurt if they keep shooting at a Fafnir, Ophion, Hades, Ares, etc. In terms of what robot specifically counters Dagon it would probably have to be Crisis Reaper provided they can get their shots in. Ranged sniping bots in general will have the advantage if they have anything 800m or more. Assuming also that the Dagons aren't running weapons with more than 800m.
adrian, i have made a discovery. From what i know dagon has hitbox issues. Yeah. The dagon. Hitbox issues. the magnetar build on nether with the shieldbreak pilot might actually not work.
I think the Dagon is very balanced as there are a lot of counter to it like ophion fafnir and crisis and module But I still think it will get a heavy nerf like the mars as it will be super dominant in lower league like the Mars and links used to be
Hello Adrian 👋 Crisis,Nether I believe those are the 2 that have built-in shield breaker but also the active mod of shield breaker. Nether with vortexes old school That would break that in half every time it moves on its ability. It creates shield breaker
Nether doesn't have built in shieldbreaker. It's from a pilot. You can't equip vortex on a nether either.And even if you could equip vortex on a nether you would have to be able to lock the dagon down before you would fire the vortex. The vortex's weakness is fast moving targets like the dagon And the nether has been deemed obsolete from the recent nerf.

They probably don't know how to play it just yet - remember it just came out. I've run into a ton of Ochokochis and the only time they really kill me is if they've had help. In the times I've run into them I usually smoke them. The shield of Dagon is very strong but it's the firepower of the new weapons which will make short work of Ocho.
Its stupid how the new weapons r literally the long range version of punchers, if u know how was the puncher when it was in the meta u will probably know what im referring to
It's deadly but I find some other builds like the Tamer for example far deadlier. I was trying out Spark and those weapons are crazy strong on it too. I remember them being strong on the Test Server but even Spark were melting through Ochos. I believe they recently buffed Spark too.
Demeter is in my 5 Robots You Should Build series because it covers a number of different areas which I feel help a player develop their skills. #1 At a low level it's the best healer that can be built in Workshop. If the enemy is MK3 and you are MK1 level 6 like my Baby Account I can use the ability to protect myself from those weapons provided they don't have Shield Breaker. I can also protect my teammates. #2 Even at MK1 level 6 (like my Baby Account) I can teleport 500m to a teammate and keep moving across the map. This makes it technically one of the fastest robots that can move around the battlefield even at low level. #3 If you're using Jerry Fortune pilot you can boost even your low level weapons to higher damage with each ability use. It's a free "Deathmark" but if you're near teammates you give them a free Deathmark too which is handy when fighting other meta bots like Ochokochi and Titans. #4 This is probably the most important one of the bunch. A strong Demeter player will learn to constantly keep an eye on their teammates and their health. This develops good battlefield awareness but also builds on the foundation that this awareness can be used for capturing weak beacons around the map. A lot of players I find sitting back and camping which is selfish play - the Demeter teaches you to do the opposite. With time that awareness turns into a solid foundation but also a higher win rate no matter what your league. There are probably more reasons but the above are all reasons why I chose the Demeter over say the Khepri or Scorpion.
I think there is two possibilities for countering the Dagon right now. Crisis and Fafnir. Crisis will only be useful from long/mid range because if it comes out of stealth to fire while in range of Dagons weapons it's instant death. Fafnir with Svyatogor Belovs shieldbreaking ability will have to time attacks very carefully. Ideally taking off right before you attack to get as much protection as possible from the absorber shield because as soon as that shield drops you're toast. Dagons firepower is a difficult problem to get around. Especially with it having anti stealth from the seeker drone too. Dagon is definitely going to be the new top dog imo. All those players that invested all that money and resources into 5 Ochokochis and it wasn't even out for 6 weeks before they rolled out Dagon. Ouch.
I’ve killed 5/6 dagons with my ocho’s so far. The hardest one to kill was one set up with 6 harpoon weapons. He probably had 250k hp just in the shield but if you time it right and force his ability without using your own they can be killed with an ocho. You just have to slow down.
nah ocho is still top dog, since its still busted as hell but dagon is definitely up there, a well timed crisis reaper will still evaporate it from a distance, unlike ocho, dagon has counters, the only counter ocho has is to keep shooting it till it dies.

I think this bot is ok because if it has six weapons slot it has also a weakness after shield it destroyed quick but ochokochi is still beast it need more nerf

The visual efeects are similar to the Quarker just Eliminate Everything Am quite impressed by it but not willing to fork over real $$$ to get it. I've found its better to sit back & eventually it will be in the workshop. True I Wont be like one of the very few who are willing to let go of there disposable income so easily to get this Robot & 6 count'em SIX of the newest KILL ya dead One possibly 2 Full clips & Yer outta the game weapons .. Yes I would PAY 2 see you do a Live Stream Using EVERY LIGHT WEAPON that Has been created so far Demonstrated on the D A G O N robot. We already know the brand spanking Nu Weapons Pixo has released are the most Ovr'pwred & most wanted by all of us in the community. But its Those who are just so easily influenced & give over there hard earned moolah jest to get'em I wont be part of that sml crowd .. I cant justify spending so much to get so little in return. I just dont see the logic of dropping so much cash & true its Wa____y fun to point & shoot @ the Redz who just dissappear whomever is unlucky enough to poke there bots out in the open. Gosh thats just so fun to do but a few months later it gets nerfed so badly it ain't worth it Id rather stick with what WORKS in the Long run till Pixo gets its numbers in & by the majority of players using it Either a Robot or weapon in great numbers & THEN gets the Axe once or twice & repeats all over again Especially anything new !! Maybe thats why The Redeemers & Flame weapons have Dominated the Battlefields all over the WR Universe. By the few that use them .. I do. All my flame pumping weapons & all of my Redeemers i still prioritize taking them to the highest levels i can providing that 40% discount comes around lol .. To few of the Community are using them .. I have quite a number of Coronas & Halos & Glories laying around. Was happy that my Glories were tearin up everything for awhile there until yet another nerf whacked them Again. I still use 4 of them on my Bohemoth.. dont care they got a slower firing times & its particle spread increased .. Man thats just ... well you know.. I feel that the existence of this robot is gonna have consequences of making a nerf to magnums, magentars, spears again, maybe the blight weapons and later on the new ones... Dagon is ok right now if you have shield breaker this robot is gone is not like the ochokochi... The new weapons area just broken
Pretty much. I'm not sure what the range is but it's a hard counter to Lynx and Imugis - I've been killing a lot of them lately. I think maybe the range is around 300m or something but will need to find out.
even if it is 1000 dagons give away, it still wont fulfill more than million unhappy players struggling to fight even the low meta bots let alone buying those lucky stupid cards with hard money. Pixonic promo doesnt even care the players . Every update will hv increase its prices with real money..thats all. Nothing about players concern or feedback ,all is about is the PRICE INCREASED.
@@xDenisFox No ? Killed most maxed out Dagon with SB on ophion, doesn’t matter if Dagon uses FS or not just fly away and go back for the kill again when ability is up. I do have a maxed out Dagon that’s why I said it’s a glass cannon
@@xDenisFox hopefully will meet one with the drone. But Dagon’s shields is not that strong. New weapons and shotguns bring it down rather quick if you ask me. even when I equip Dagon with 3 maxed fortifier. Then again if I get to meet one with the drone.

I think we'll see more Crisis. Just use the ability and you have a built-in Shield Breaker. The same with Nether and it's pilot.

Im switching to shield breaker on at least one bot in my hanger. More if they swarm the battle field like the Ocho.

Yeah I remember. I still use a puncher on my fenrir with igniters. It's still a deadly combo to this day

It can definitely be a counter especially now with the changes to Unstable Conduit.
Six ultimate Blaze is nearly the firepower of six max level Embers. Only with built in slowing. No wonder you easily burn through Ochos and Titans.

Dagon is not overpowered you can counter it that's why i like it even though it's new and why Demeter in 5 robot you should build in work shop

Its kinda stupid but a dagon with the harpoon weapons would be a counter or harpy with with pilot that ignore sheilds
my ole bendie harpy kills it. also typhon labrys/ult pulsars with shield breaker does them in.

Pretty much. I'm not sure what the range is but it's a hard counter to Lynx and Imugis - I've been killing a lot of them lately. I think maybe the range is around 300m or something but will need to find out.

even if it is 1000 dagons give away, it still wont fulfill more than million unhappy players struggling to fight even the low meta bots let alone buying those lucky stupid cards with hard money. Pixonic promo doesnt even care the players . Every update will hv increase its prices with real money..thats all. Nothing about players concern or feedback ,all is about is the PRICE INCREASED.

@@xDenisFox No ? Killed most maxed out Dagon with SB on ophion, doesn’t matter if Dagon uses FS or not just fly away and go back for the kill again when ability is up. I do have a maxed out Dagon that’s why I said it’s a glass cannon
@@xDenisFox hopefully will meet one with the drone. But Dagon’s shields is not that strong. New weapons and shotguns bring it down rather quick if you ask me. even when I equip Dagon with 3 maxed fortifier. Then again if I get to meet one with the drone.
