- Damn.... double homicide.... (i had to) Otto kinda ate this episode lmaooooo his whole scene yelling at Aegon may be my fave of this season so far. First two episodes have ended with Alicent and Cole banging... can we please not??? Speaking of Criston Cole: I HATE THAT MAN SO MUCH

I love how even Cole himself looked aghast at how stupid the idea of him as Hand is.
funny thing is naming criston cole was one of the smartest things aegon did criston is one of the best warriors of his time and a good strategist ottos plan was completly wrong yes they would have got a few more houses on their side but wouldnt have acted as fast with cole as hand and would have been in a disadvantage since the blacks had way more dragons.

Viserys named Rhaenyra heir. That should be the end of it 😭. But not only that Aegon is impulsive with no empathy, Cole is a pissboy who’s holding on to a grudge of not getting picked- aemond has no backbone;- I could go on.
Meanwhile rhaenyra never wanted to be named heir, which is precisely why she’s the best suited, she’s level headed and has a good heart.
who cares who he named heir? team green are interesting characters, team black is boring. the show writers are treating rhaenyra like she's a saint and they wont let her have any flaws or do anything that makes her look bad, who wants to watch that?

@@arobin6695Yep, precisely this. Team Black is so boring, and both Daemon and Rhaenyra’s kids aren’t remotely compelling compared to all of Alicent’s. The Greens are just way more fun to watch and analyze, so you’ll always find me on their side. Idc about the politics or morality of it, I watch a show to be entertained.

I believe almost every word she said about Daemon. He clearly told Blood and Cheese "A son for a son" otherwise Blood wouldn't have said it. Daemon was the only other person to use that phrase in episode 1.

I disagree with your point about the blacks not thinking about PR, but I think they are too concerned about PR. I think Rhaenyra went from being a precocious young girl who wasn’t afraid of taking action to becoming an overly cautious, worrier who is too concerned about appearing patient and prudent.
She should have killed or captured Otto when he had the balls to come to Dragonstone unarmed. She should have allowed Daemon raise their banners the moment when she learned the greens commit high treason, before they could get more lords under their command. Finally, while child murder is not pleasant 😁, in these times, it’s either their family or yours. Only one side of the family is gonna live, and it’s the greens who started the war by committing high treason against her.
Screw PR at this point. Either the lords are gonna ride with Rhaenyra because she’s a good and kind leader or not because she’s a woman. Just like today, you’re not gonna convince the other side so might as well roll with the people who rock with you. My two cents 🤷🏿♂️
Agreed with everything EXCEPT the child murder. That was terrible for her strategically. Should have immediately taken all her dragons and rushed King's Landing instead of killing a toddler which caused quite a few lords to doubt her (even though it's Daemon's fault and not hers, I feel like you're implying it was somehow the right thing to do).
Could have always banished them to the Wall, after all... That's been done in the past and worked out.
They didn't kick a dog in the books so the show made it actually worse.

it's so dumb how otto acts like aegon killing some ratcatchers will turn people against him when rhaenyra's ally rhaenys killed hundreds of innocent people in king's landing and nobody cares or turned against rhaenyra for it

@@everybodylovesrae_ there's no scene of anyone shouting at rhaenys for killing hundreds of innocents right before she joined rhaenyra like when aegon killed a dozen innocents, the show runner called her escape from the pit a heroic moment while the show runner clearly condemns aegon's actions
