Good videos, just update 1) Walking on an expressway is NOT allowed in India too. 2) Shoes are not allowed in Indian households from Rajasthan to Tamilnadu. We remove them outside the house.
Nothing wrong with LOOKING at an attractive man/beautiful woman, if you get eye contact, it may be mutual interest, BUT that is not the same as prolonged STARING. There is a fine line sometimes between showing interest/looking at someone and downright STARING. Greetings from Oslo!
I think in south India and in seven sisters, including Bengal, removing shoe outside house/ in a designated place is a common practice. Even for guests, it is expected to follow the same tradition. Thanks to this lovely couple for sharing this useful information about Norway's culture.
I agree on that part. Leaving shoes outside is way too common practice over here. It was different to hear you mention that because it is pretty common practice. But yes. India is different in different parts and so it is understandable.
@@pragyanbezbo In context of th-cam.com/video/g10-FzALheQ/w-d-xo.html I wanted to share my experience. That's why I mentioned. I have seen same idea about shoe opening culture from other famous youtuber, who is from Punjab region. (Fit Tuber). I am just sharing my opinion about other big cities. No offence. :) BTW I am from Kolkata.
As another desi who has spent a lot of time in Norway, your observations are 100% accurate, and all of these are amazing positive qualities (in my opinion) about Norwegians.
First time I met two very genuine persons from India, you both are very sensible and very different and provide good information about Norway, educational system, about its culture and other rules and regulations regarding Norway, keep your good work, from Pakistan.
Very informative. I think very valid too. Some points like honking, taking out shoes( which was followed earlier in India and is followed in many places still) , maintaining a distance , buying tickets before boarding a bus or train and last but not the least hitting your child.
Sometime I go to Norway or not, or any other people go there or not, the most attractive part of your content, as for me, your heartfelt invitation. This is first time I see in any travel video, apart from your valuable informations you shared. Go ahead and never give up your stunning simplicity. Your blog is going to be very popular. Thanks.
Glad you have shared your Dont’s in Norway. I have also lived in many countries and I agree we are ambassadors of our country. The way we behave is truly reflects on our country.
Hey PRA been bro please can you share your Instagram I'd I had some questions about Norway to know from you it will be pleased to know only a few questions❓
Bahut sahi lag rah hai... apka chanel bahut sahi hai... m living in Trondheim since Dec 2018, n working at NTNU... m really happy here in Norway... feeling also very nice after seeing your website n this channel.... very good n appreciable initiative.... hats off to u.... all d best... hope u will keep helping others like this, or may be in some better way... very good... :) :) my best wishes to u guys...
Norwegian here. It is NOT very common to have a grass roof, and definitely NOT in the cities. However, it does happen a few places, mostly inland and slightly higher altitudes. I have never seen a house with a grass roof near the coast. Namaste from Oslo.
Thanks for the video !!! lot of things were new for me (Even though I am in norwary since last 2 years) ☺ Highly recommended for people planning to visit/stay in Norway ☺ One more important point I can add is to keep your house clean and make sure not to cause any sought of damage inside your house. Paid cleaning and repair support in Norway is very very Expensive !!!
For learning a new language, start listening to conversations and watch series or movies in that language without subtitles. Dont try to focus on grammar or reading just yet. Just get experienced with the listening part. Learn like a baby. Learn occasional words and simple translations. Give yourself enough time to learn. Norwegian is a Level 1 language from English and so it is way too easy if you start understanding the things. The pronunciations can be a little bit different but has the same base as English. There are great TH-cam channels focussed on that. I follow Learn Norwegian Naturally channel. Similar channels are there in Spotify. And you can use Duolingo now and then to get some practice. In short, get experienced with listening the language first. Give a month or two just on that. You will slowly begin to understand things even before learning anything. Children story books also help a lot. In learning the language. Treat yourself like a kid. You will learn better. If you have any questions, do ask them here.
Bhai ticket ka to I think mobile pass to hota hai but I dont found that so strict Good that we can board all 3 kind of transports on single pass I had kolumbus app n found one compartment in train jaha TC nahi aata 😊
Not entering the house with shoes on is commonly practiced in southern states of India...and yes..when u come down south...honking is soooooooo lessssssss.
Hi Arvind and Shailja . You are an adorable couple 😍😍😍. I love watching your videos. My son is also a Sujanian and that's one of the reasons I feel connected with you❤️. God bless you both and Ava.👍❤️❤️
I don't think staring is bad. Staring just mean you are exploring or screening about something you are unfamiliar or something you find interesting. Some may become nervous only if they think you might rob or harm or unworthy. In such case, one has to assure that what is it that you are trying to screen.
Shailja, Removing shoes and jackets are not really strange, these are followed in India as well as elsewhere in the world... But "Opening" the shoes and "Opening" your jacket are indeed Strange for us 😊 No offense intended, just a funny observation !
Superr... I am wondering if I can do PhD with my existing MBA and experience as technical writer writing blogs, case studies etc across AI, Big data analytics, ML, AR/VR/Mr, Cloud, Accessibility Testing, Digital twins, AI powered test automation, ANPR, RPA, embedded engineering, Connected devices. Asset tracking, Mobility, UI/UX, SCM and digital transformation. Please let me know if I have some chance in Norway.. I especially like that gas like sky.. aurora borealis.
As always, it was very cute and very informative. I loved those thought bubbles. Ahaha. Arvind has a lot of friends from different areas it seems hahaha 😂 But yeah, keep creating. It was great. ❤️
Taking off the shoes outside is very common in Bombay even in the apartments. Same in Kashmir ( but that's because the floor is covered wall to wall due to cold).

Awesome.... basically if u want to live in Norway you better not behave like a normal Indian 😄

Yes we meant creepy kinda staring. Like the man in the video was doing :)

How is that?
Norwegian here. It is NOT very common to have a grass roof, and definitely NOT in the cities. However, it does happen a few places, mostly inland and slightly higher altitudes. I have never seen a house with a grass roof near the coast. Namaste from Oslo.
