Actually, I'm so happy now that they gradually regained their recognition back then. They're considered as one of the famous kpop group in Korea right now.... The sad thing is there's only few international ICs like me. But hopefully, the world will come to know them and love them just the way we did! THEY'RE PERFECT!!! WINNER Fighting!

Happened with both Winner and Ikon, they started off with some of the best debuts of all time but they didn't get as big as they could have been.
Well, i think that's a feature of YG Boygroups since they have to rely on themselves to make a big hit. GD made a string of hit songs that's why BIGBANG was so successful. Winner and iKON have made some huge hits with Really Really and Love Scenario, they just need to make those more consistently. They're not really like other groups that can just churn out comebacks(with songs provided by in-house producers) like machines because they do almost everything.
Who would say that this would be the first and last performance with 5 members at MAMA awards.
And they had so much potential..

Not comparing but when when everyone's like yeah yeah swag swag, winner calm us all, breath, take in their good singing, classy vibe and then proceed with swag swag again. It's nice to slow down. Winner is like that middle help everyone needs to calm. Other wise too much swag might kill us all.

Some food for thoughts: Bobby featured in 3 stages, with both in and outside of YG artists. Songs he performed was not in the chart, not nominated, as a matter of fact Come Here wasn't even his song, and it was a 4-day-old or something song.
People who said WINNER should be honored to be performing on that wonderful stage perhaps should calculate the actual time they have. 3 mins 14 second. If WINNER has a special stage that last almost 20 mins like Block B and BTS, or performing more than one songs like Infinite, or featuring in special collaborations like other groups, well I'd take it. But no, they were performing a shortened version of a song they have been performing for months, and aside from the cool remix, there was nothing that special about it. Not too fancy of costumes, not crazy backup dancers, not special effects, thoBest New Rookie apparently is a big deal, and YG could have let them shine and create special performances to promote them because MAMA is a very good opportunity to do so, but they chose to promote other folks instead. Yes, Mino has another 59 seconds with IU and he featured in Born Hater (with both B.I. and Bobby, btw), but what about the other 4? KSY debuted as a solo act before he was the leader of WINNER, logically speaking, he should have had at least a collab too. But nah, let's promote the trainees that have yet to debut because apparently that was what MAMA is about - not honoring the artists who have worked hard during the year, but to promote upcoming rookies.
As a matter of fact, I don't even know why YG let Yoo in na (?) take up time and perform EH's song, she's not even signed as a singer, that doesn't make any sense.
You can literally count the seconds where Jinwoo and Taehyun were on screen, because of the camera angles, sure, but if they have a longer performance that was directed and set up properly, things like that wouldn't happen.
Incles worked so fucking hard to make sure WINNER was there at MAMA, YG didn't even confirm until the very last minute, and if MPD Mnet didn't release the video like 2 days before the event, we wouldn't even know. Incles, both Korean and international, have spent tremendous amount of time voting on that shitty MAMA poll because of the fear that WINNER wouldn't be there. If you know anything about the unfair treatment in terms of promotions and mediaplay that YG pulled for Bobby and B.I. compared to WINNER, you wouldn't say such things as "Incles complain too much". Incles had to fight for their debut, for the release of their album, for their promotion in Korea, for them to attend reality shows, even for YG to actually tweet about them and publish the achievements that WINNER had (YG never released all the photoshoots, articles, awards that they achieved), we had to ask for the smallest thing like BTS (yet YG never release those, unlike other YG artists). The list go on, but I'm gonna stop. If you're not part of the circle that is working hard to make sure the boys are recognized and get fair treatment, if you don't know anything more than just "oh WINNER is performing their song at MAMA cool" then perhaps the story is not yours to tell. You can go ahead and expressing your opinion about a band that you're not actually a fan of and have no idea what's going on with them, but don't tell Incles to chill. If we chill, we wouldn't even have WINNER in the first place. So peace all the way up to heaven yall.

yes! although we Inner Circles only officially been 3 months old, but most of us had been with our boys for more than a year! not counting Yoon and Hoon's fan from their audition time!
we had went through alot with them, experienced all kinds of emotions together with them like a family! when they happy! we would shred happy tears for them, when they sad, we feel pain for them, so ofc, when they receive unfair treatments, we would feel anger for them! we would do ANYTHING just so that they would receive what they deserve ! the relationship between Inner Circle and Winner is just like Mothers trying to protect their own child! this is where we are different from any other fandom!! we dont just look up to them and admire them! we all only want the best for them!
to Outer Circles! if you're not in this Circle, you will only able see the good things on the surface, will never able to see what really happened behide the scene and what we really had to went through! therefore you have no right to tell us to stop whining! if we dont whine, we would NOT have gone THIS FAR! or perhaps... the WINNER that you knew wouldn't have even existed in the first place!

All rookie's performances are hyped and full of choreography. But Winner can slay without dance, props, and backups. Just stage presence and damn amazing vocals. I miss them. Still waiting for Yoon's solo album while waiting for their full comeback!
Been going back on old performances and I’d say, Winner’s energy has always been low key but elegant. The power they have even if they’re just standing or walking around is incomparable. That’s unique swag even for YG artists. I will always be an innercircle 💙 These boys deserve much more than they have.

My expectations were high after watching their performance at MMA. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful WINNER got to perform and were the only rookie to do so... and I also loved the new arrangement, but I was still disappointed. Only 3 minutes? C'mon. I guess we were too spoiled after their epic MMA stage.

whatever songs winner makes, they will always fit yg. it's like they're born to have that yg vibe in them. even with slow songs like 'empty', it fits them and yg so much. i'm so glad that yg is letting them have their own color in music. i love winner so much and i hate how they only get to perform 1 song on MAMA 2014.

yeah i think all of us got spoiled with the MMA but most that sure MAMA only gave them 3 min time as being rookies..they even cut Hoon when he wanted to say something after winning the rookie award,that was plain rude..so let's not point at YG because this time it might not be his fault...
Miky M Cutting Seunghoon off wasn't ideal but each speech has a set time before the awards need to keep rolling. You can see this if you watch the Oscars and the music automatically starts playing after a given amount of time. It couldn't be helped :(
came back to see Winner in MAMA 2014 (': we couldn't get to see them in 2015 but hopefully next yr's MAMA we can see them perform a much longer performance!!! I miss you WINNER !!! it's sad how winner only performed half of empty but iKON gets to perform 3 full songs.... but still im glad WINNER managed to pull off this extremely short performance well :D

마마같은거 안 챙겨봤는데... 저 때 우연히 집에서 티비 돌리다가 남태현 웃는거에 반해서 위너 좋아하다가 송민호랑 남태현 너무너무 좋아했는데.. 지금도 그 둘이 좋지만 같은 팀이 아닌게 슬프다 남태현이 논란은 많아도 목소리도 잘 어울리고 그랬는데 지금은 아무래도 위너 자체를 응원하다 보니깐 송민호가 더 많이 좋아졌지만 남태현도 잘 돼길 응원할게요....

hello rookies winner, im from the future 👋🏼 it's been years, jinu and hoony are both enlisted, but ofc still still visiting the maknaes on off days (tq for the constant ig updates updates/vlives) an old inseo like me should be grateful ahahaha, the mino in the future been busy writing and going on var shows a lot and loved by gp/pds/brands, yoon isn't only that great singer/winner maknae leader/producer/photographer/yg marketing/the spoke person/ at the moment now ppl also know your acting is an a level too (ps: they finally confirm your solo :') our long ass ages of waiting will soon pays off) , and dear nam taehyun, you slowly are doing better being the version of yourself that you wanted. it'll be a lie if i say i dont miss seeing the 5 of you on stage, but just so you remember, we promise to wait till you come back, be it on the same stage or different stages, you will always be loved.

BTS and Block B aren't rookies, though. At the end of the day, Winner is still a rookie group, this they'll get the shortest performance time to give way for the sunbaes. Besides, they're the ONLY rookie group to perform in the main show, so WTF is up with all the entitlement going around here? When SHINee and 2PM were rookies in their first MKMF (which was what MAMA was before), they didn't even perform their own song. They had 30 second dance cover of a sunbae's song. Inner Circles should be glad the group is even performing on such a big award show.
And no, you can't compare this to Melon Music Awards.

I can not stand it anymore YG. Their first mama and a 3 minute performance? They had probably the shortest performance in the history of mama. Sorry but bobby and b.i, although havent debuted yet had more time to perform. Damn im so pissed. And dont say that yg is not to be blame, look at 2ne1's stage in mama 2009, the year of their debut. The difference is clear. Why you have to treat winner like this. They deserve so much more, look at their per, only 3 minutes but it's perfect, a talented group should be treated as so.
One last thing, for all of you saying Incles complain too much, read "KamuiJJang" comment below to know exactly why we do it, nobody wants to complain, when so many people do it then sth must have gone wrong, dont you think?

Can't we just be proud of them for winning the best new artist award and not complain. Just be thankful they didn't get chucked back in the YG dungeon. Look at Lee Hi and that new gg YG's been media playing for 4 years now. Be grateful that Winner actually got to perform when other artists who are their sunbaes didn't get to do it when they were still rookies.
2NE1 had so much screen time in the 2009 MAMA because only YG and a handful of other companies attended. Everyone else was either boycotting the show (SM) or chose to continue performing in the weekly shows instead.

Yes!! Prayers for Taehyun! idk specificially what he's going thru but I know anything like depression, anxiety etc is real. I went thru same thing, but I believe God healed me from it. Short perfomance but unforgettable💜 amazing
Talets, visuals, voice, dance , stage presence, fashion. Winner has everything.
i just love how they always change the melody of the song, like how Jinwoo and Taehyun did starting from 0:55 ;-; it's like this song can be sung in various types of ways, like for those who can't sing this in falsetto and high pitch, they can use other methods like this one or the one in MMA. and also how they're not always following the original track of the song, like how Seungyoon always does various high pitch in every performances. and every time we hear them sing on live, there are always these fresh and new feelings even though we've heard the song countless of times already. like in MMA, at the beginning, the main instrument is guitar so it gave us this fancy-like feeling, but here in MAMA, they use piano which gives out sad and melancholic vibes, and i'm very surprised how they can turn this one song into so many styles. it shows how they actually have talents and how good they are in applying it in many ways. good job WINNER. though i wish for a longer performance, i could never be grateful enough for your hard work :-) and i'm sorry for my poor music reference urgh.

craving for Winner performance after done watching MAMA 2015...and here I am to satisfied my craving.. Miss u all, WINNER!
Though short, for me WINNER's performance is remarkable, that little twist in the arrangement is perfect, the crowd were singing along with them, even other artists enjoyed it especially EXO's Tao and Suho. About all of this whining, I understand some INCLES' frustrations, we all work our asses off just to see them perform and win in MAMA, and some expected more than what they did in MELON. At first I am also a bit dissapointed but after seeing MnetMAMA's Hidden Story, I knew now why it happened. The performance were shortened because of the delayed flight of their supposed to be back-up dancers. We should know as Inner Circles how much WINNER love us and pretty sure they already prepared an awesome performance just for us if only things run smoothly as planned. Anyways, MAMA's over and we should be thankful for the Best New Artist, we just have to continue supporting them for other end- of- the year Awards so we can have another chance of seeing their awesomeness on stage. But look at them now they are thriving individually. Although hoony and jinu went to military but mino and yoon are making their own name. Mino who will comeback this october with his new album plus his variety shows, magazine covers and others. Yoon who became king of masked, singing with the legends, variety shows, his acting career and hopefully we can get his solo album too.
True. They were always the most like BigBang even though people didn't consider them like that. 5 individual successes, everyone contributing equally, completely different styles blending together, different from mainstream, no choreography yet rocking the stage, the attitude on stage... everything reminded me of BB when they first debuted.

One of the most played karoke songs. Widely acclaimed singer and rapper. Almost 1M album sales even though they're based in SK-Japan mostly. Top 10 most watched make kpop acts on YT with so less videos. Top 11 most watched kpop acts of all time.
How do people still call them irrelevant or underrated? They're the princes of Korea.

I'm super happy about getting the best new artist award but i'm still a little bit upset about their performance. I don't understand why 2NE1 performed 3 songs back in 2009. BI and Bobby who haven't debuted yet performed longer and had a better stage than WINNER. I mean i'm happy for BI and Bobby but WHY is nothing fair and equal? WINNER's stage was super empty and..yes boring. Inkigayo stages were much better. This is YG's new boy group in 8 years!! Is this everything they got?

I don't get why you guys keep on complaining why WINNER only got 3 mins to perform... aren't y'all just happy that we can see our boys stand on such a big stage and live their dream? I don't know about you guys, but I'm just happy that i was able to see them sing their hearts out and enjoy every second of the time given. I'm proud of my boys no matter what and no time limit would ever change that.
