@@AnastasiaBlogger thanks for your reply. I just read the article. I just don't understand where I'm supposed to add the rich meta tag to my webpages. Is there a video that can walk me through this process?
Yes, to avoid making your Pinterest account look spammy with only your pins :) It is recommended to have 80% your pins and 20% repins of other users' pins.
Hi, Tanya! Unfortunately, yes this feature of checking how popular the hashtag is, was removed. Some people still can make it work on mobile devices, depends on the version of the application I guess. But for most of the accounts it's not available anymore. What I recommend for hashtags is simply using the most popular keywords related to your pin as hashtags. Hashtags work as broad search categories on Pinterest.
Hi Anastasia. Thanks for your content. What if you don't have a blog - but you're selling physical products. Would you just pin curated content relevant to your industry?
@@emielmaddens585 No, you can repin content from other Pinterest accounts as much as you like, it's not considered spammy - you are helping Pinterest grow, and curating content for the platform. First - You are awesome. 2nd - If the user goes to my website from Pinterest, is it organic traffic in Google eye? Because I read that if more than 80% of your traffic is from social media, Google AdSense account will be penalized. Please answer.
Pinterest is not quite a social media, it's more of a search engine. I never had any problems or complaints about the Pinterest traffic - my site always had over 85% from Pinterest and it was accepted to Google Adsense and then to Mediavine premium network. Not just mine :) Lots of bloggers rely on Pinterest for traffic and it's considered in fact some of the best quality traffic sources because the majority of your visitors will be from the United States.

Do you know any way to go around it?
Pin title has nothing to do with Grow plugin and you are not getting the title because Rich pins don't work properly on most of the newly verified accounts. The way around it is very simple - make a screenshot of a pin saved from your webpage without pin title and submit a request on Pinterest contact page help.pinterest.com/en-gb/contact go to Business and advertising - Developer tools - Rich pins. They usually reply to requests with this kind of issue pretty fast, shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks to be fixed. Thanks a lot I have a question about increase followers in my account but how i can do that faster to get more followers and is that mean more followers equal more traffic to my website and thanks
Hi there. The good thing about Pinterest is that your follower count doesn’t really predict your traffic so it doesn’t necessarily mean that the more followers you have, the more traffic you get.
Hi Anastasia, thank you for the great tutorial. It's really helpful as I'm just starting to master Pinterest. A quick question - I see that most of my traffic from Pinterest has Bounce Rate 100% in Google Analytics. Is it always like that with Pinterest traffic?
Hi there! Usually, bounce rate on Pinterest can get as high as 90% And it is a pretty normal bounce rate. When your site gets bigger you can do more links between the posts and add blocks with related content - it will help you reduce the bounce rate a bit. But in general, I wouldn't worry about it much at this point - you need to focus on getting traffic to your site first before you start analyzing what kind of traffic it is.
Yes, it goes down around February but not forever! However, it's worth saying as well that it's not for all niches equally. If your niche is not related to everything that was popular in Sept-Dec and January, probably you didn't get high traffic in those months and will not so you'll no see it as a decline in traffic. What I recommend is always being ahead of trends and target all the upcoming holidays 2-3 months in advance to get spikes of traffic closer to these holidays. Also, you might want to find some topics in your niche which are less dependant on seasons and create content for those. If you're working on content ahead of the season, you'll see that the drop is not so dramatic. I have here Pinterest planner anastasiablogger.com/pinterest-planner/ (and if you want to have a look at what's inside, here is the plan with trends and keywords for March anastasiablogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/pinterest-trends-2019-march.pdf I hope this helps. @@AnastasiaBlogger hi, thanks for your answer, my niche is not seasonal that its about health. Daily 3K traffic now only 1K, maybe some new algorithm updates could be on pinterest?
@@omersenocak3703 health is a pretty broad niche, so I'll be guessing here but I know that weight loss as part of health niche is usually high in January and then goes down. And you are right, it looks like they had an update which I think normally happens on Pinterest when seasons change. They do some tweaking to show fewer pins which were trending in the previous season, and to give more space for content of the new season. So my theory is that when this happens, pins in all categories and niches are affected in some way, even if they are evergreen.
are the hashtags still relevant today? I am new to pintereset and I am trying to wrap my had around it. when I am starting typing after the # I do not see any suggestions, should I still add them?
@@AnastasiaBlogger thank you very much for making time and answering my question, I understand the effort behind it. I came across your channel and I admire you, you are a strong independent woman. Keep up the good work! God bless!
I've read your post containing how much money that you've made out of your blog. That's great. But one thing that I've noticed is that Pinterest's traffic doesn't convert that well. If you were getting that type of traffic from Google, your profit would have been much higher. I used to get traffic from Pinterest, but the traffic was quite bouncy.
Thank you for your comment! It's true that Pinterest users are not looking for an exact solution like Google users, they mostly are in a different mode of browsing and so if you are trying to sell something (your own products or affiliate products), you will need to do the extra work of warming up that audience with your follow-up emails, etc. Pinterest works great to get people into your funnel through a freebie or another type of opt-in. Users from Google know exactly what they are looking for more often, but it's also much harder to get traffic from Google - I mean for a new website with no domain authority, no backlinks, it's really hard on Google. Also, keep in mind that selling products is not the only monetization model. How about the publisher model? Most of the bloggers who do well with Pinterest traffic, work with premium advertising companies like Mediavine where you get paid for every 1000 sessions on your site. And it doesn't really matter how well this audience converts if you just need them to open your post and scroll down reading it and viewing as many ads as possible.
Hi! I have a question that if I want to get more traffic to my own website then can I update the url (which was linking to some other site before) to my website ? if I do this, will my account be suspended ?
Hey, can you tell me why google analytics is not showing the correct data of pinterest because when i check my pintersest analytics so i see there are more than 350 clicks but google analytics is showing less tha than 100 clicks why?
Hi there! You need to make sure that your Google Analytics code is installed correctly. Also, the visits on your Pinterest account are also sometimes directed to the "(direct) / (none)" section of your GA so you might not be able to see your whole Pinterest stats there.
I had created a pinterest account with hopes to have started marketing my blog. But things came up and its been a couple months. Would pinterest still count me as a new account? I have not posted anything on it yet. Would you recommend I start a brand new account?
If your website is already claimed on that account, then you may just want to continue on with that account since you can really only claim your website on one account :)
Hi, Rahamath! Not all niches have the same traffic potential on Pinterest. To analyze the potential for niches on Pinterest, I recommend you checking topics: www.pinterest.com/topics/travel/ For example, Travel has 76.7 million followers on Pinterest. www.pinterest.com/topics/personal-finance/ Personal finance has 170k followers. Does this mean you will get less traffic to make money online posts? Probably yes. But usually, in a money niche, you can convert traffic for more $. You can be in a business niche and convert traffic with sales of your services that cost $2000/mo per client. Will you need 250,000/mo visitors? Well, if you get too many prospects, you might run out of resources to handle so much business at once anyway. So what I'm trying to say, there are always niches that get a lot more traffic from any platform but the best you can do with this traffic is monetize it with ads. And there are always niches that can be monetized a lot better even with lower traffic. Plus, if you see that not many of your competitors are on Pinterest, you can dominate your niche and if your pins will get high rankings in Pinterest search results and stay there for a long time. By the time your competitors wake up and come to Pinterest, your pins will be showing up for the most popular keywords for your niche. I hope this helps, but let me know if you need a more specific answer regarding your niche :)
Hi, my interface when I'm trying to edit my business profile on pinterest look different than yours on video. I don't have Business Account Basic section. I do have Business Hub and Analytics. Can you tell me please if my account is business or personal? Thanks

Hey Anastasia, I'd like to ask something - In Tailwind, how to add pin to tribe from scheduled queue...I know there is an option in draft Q but have you come across a time when you think "Oh this pin is awesome and let's add to the tribe" And, later you couldn't find an option from scheduled Q? Well, I am in that situation right now. lol
Hi! You could find that pin in the schedule and send it back to drafts and then send it to Tribes (screenshot here prntscr.com/o26p6a). Or just open the pin on Pinterest and send it to Tribes from there. I hope this helps :)
Thanks for the prompt reply :) I plowed through tribe and found another solution... Here is an alternative - Under (Insights) there is an option (Pin Inspector), so once you open it, you can browse through pins and on the right there is an option to add to tribe. I hope this helps you as well and might as well add this feature to your course. :) Thanks a TON!
@@AnastasiaBlogger I recently listen to your thoughts about 2021 and you said that Pinterest is putting less attention on hashtags. Did something change that I missed?
Hello Anastasia, I'm from Brazil, I have a Pinterest account that reached 4 million monthly views on Pinterest, but my blog didn't have 300 people a day, is it magic to get 300 thousand views on the blog? It seems impossible on Pinterest
Hi there! 4 million viewers on Pinterest doesn't necessarily reflect the pins linked to your site because this number also includes all the repins you made from other site. Your traffic really depends on the pins and not on your monthly viewers on Pinterest. I've seen accounts with 0 pins linked to the verified domain and 2M monthly viewers, so they were getting 0 traffic but still had millions of monthly viewers. Also, in some niches pins can have good number of impressions and saves while getting low click-through rates. These funny images, quotes, viral videos that are meant just to entertain the user. If there is no reason for a user to clilck to your site from the pin, they won't. th-cam.com/video/yV6cCmfy14I/w-d-xo.html Watch this video about improving your click-through rates you want to learn some of the "magic" that helps me get as much traffic as possible from my efforts on Pinterest.

Yes it is :) And the hashtag suggestions now only appears on the Pinterest mobile app unfortunately.
And it doesn't really matter how well this audience converts if you just need them to open your post and scroll down reading it and viewing as many ads as possible.
its really awesome, thanks ma'am i have learnt many thing from here.
I'm very happy to read it! :)
Thanks so much for passing this valuable information onto us.

@@AnastasiaBlogger great thanks! (:
I like your videos very much.
thank you!
Have you tutorial?
Hi can we drive traffic using ur pinterest technique for all niche
@@AnastasiaBlogger TQ so much for in-depth explaination....

Hi, my interface when I'm trying to edit my business profile on pinterest look different than yours on video. I don't have Business Account Basic section. I do have Business Hub and Analytics. Can you tell me please if my account is business or personal? Thanks
Yes it can be that we have different interfaces. They are always testing things. My account might look different today from hoe it lookef yesterday :) Just the fact that you have Pinterest analytics tells me you have a business account.

Hey, can we promote Amazon affiliate links on pintrest as a pin.
Hi there! It's quite risky to promote direct amazon affiliates link now on Pinterest since some accounts are getting suspended from doing it. I would suggest redirecting them to a different landing page (maybe a blog post) instead with your amazon products listed
Hi I just started one week and half ago and I have 400+ impressions but only one monthly views, is this a poor view ratio comparing to the impression I have
Your stats didn't have time to populate the data properly, makes sense to ever look at the stats when the system at least has data for a month

Thanks for the prompt reply :)
I plowed through tribe and found another solution... Here is an alternative - Under (Insights) there is an option (Pin Inspector), so once you open it, you can browse through pins and on the right there is an option to add to tribe. I hope this helps you as well and might as well add this feature to your course. :)
Thanks a TON!
In 2021 do you still recommend hashtags?
Hi there! Yes, I do :)
