Hi Anastasia, great video! I saw that you use the time zone of new york and not other location in the U.S such as L.A Do you think it performs better than the west coast?
Yes and yes. If you think about it, users in PST time zone are the last ones in the US to finish the working day, and if I publish pins in their time zone, it will be just for them and the Pacific Ocean, the rest of the American audience will be in bed by then.

Hello, many thank for your help. It's really help me a lot. One question regarding TailWind. How it compare to other tool that for same purpose called: "Followliker". Which is better? TNX
I've never heard of that other tool, I do not recommend trying other tools that are not in the list of the authorised Pinterest partners. You could possibly get your account suspended for using tools that Pinterest didn't approve.

Great tutorial Anastasia, your the best teacher. I'd like to ask abt boards. Adding pins to boards on tailwind scheduler confuses me as a beginner. When I add a pin to a board, tailwind tells me the link already exists on the same board...So should multiple pins (for 1 post) be saved in different personal boards? and How many Personal boards should I have to avoid that "yellow" warning sign?
Hi, Emma. If you already saved some pins from the same page URL to t 3 board your boards days ago, let's say 3 days ago, then that yellow warning sign will appear. If you know you saved another pin image, you should be safe but if you are trying to save exactly the same pin image, I would recommend you to wait at least 3-4 months before saving them again to the same boards.
Hi Anastasia. Thanks for this great video, quite informative! Quick question from a beginner. If I upload the pins in tailwind using method 1 (in Pinterest first) then all the pins will be counted twice in Pinterest (as once you upload them in bulk in Pinterest and then you schedule through tailwind to be posted again). Might this compromised quality as many guidelines suggest "fresh pins" (i.e., they should appear only once in Pinterest). I hope this makes sense! Thanks again!
Hi, Andrea. If you are going to use the method 1, you should only upload your pin once on Pinterest to only ONE of your boards and then schedule that pin to Tailwind to be pinned to your OTHER boards. And no, this shouldn't compromise that pin being a fresh pin because Pinterest actually suggests you to pin that pin to maximum 10 of your boards to get maximum reach to your audience :)
Hi Anastasia. You are very helpful and thank you for that! I’m new to Pinterest, but I want to do it the right way since I’ve got e-commerce business, so that’s why I’m here. I’ve got one question I can’t find the answer to. Can I pin my own pin to the same board couple times? If not, then how the intervals in Tailwind work? If we put couple boards there to pin on (should there be only our boards?), at some point the interval will post the same pin to same board. If not, how so then? I’m very confused about it.

So my question now is, how many of my own boards and how many group board should i use in intervals? It there some golden ratio? Hi Anastasia. Love your lessons. Re Adding site to Pinterest. How does that work and why. Does it have to be same domain name as the Pinterest account name. Why do we need to add or connect a external website to our Pinterest business account. Please could you clear this up for me. Thanks
Hi there! If you have a blog, it is best to claim your website there because Pinterest gives priorities to pins that are officially linked to a website.
Hi Anastatsia, thank you for all of your content it is very helpful :). I was wondering, is it possible to set up a tailwind account a month or two before you intend to launch your business on pintrest without having created a pintrest account? Or if you need a pintrest account to get tailwind, and so you set up a pintrest account a month in advance, to allow you to schedule in your pins, for the launch date in one months time, would the pintrest algorithm hurt your growth/sales when you did open, because your account was inactive for the first month of its existence. I hope my question makes sense :).
Hi there! I don't see any reason why would you start a Tailwind account so early before you even have any website or Pinterest account - what will you do with it if you have no pages to link your pins to yet? :) To set a TW account, they will ask you to attach a Pinterest account once you make your first sign up. But every business is managed in a diff way, so if you are sure you can create pins linked to some webpages before they are live, go ahead with Pinterest account creation and create TW account associated with it. If everything works correctly, like the links from your pins are not broken for example, there is no any reason for Pinterest to penalize your account :) Just make sure you triple-check your page URLs before your pins go live. I know that the URLs of preview pages are different from URLs of published pages are different on most of the platforms (Wordpress etc.).
Hi Anastasia! I have a question, the account that i'll run up is new, should i have to post 10-30 times a day even if i have just one product? I hope you can answer me, your videos are so helpfull!
Hi, Norika! Thank you so much for finding my videos helpful! The recommended pinning volume is 15-25 pins per day with 25 pins as the maximum. And no, you should not post the same product and URL in the same day or else it will count as spam.
@@AnastasiaBlogger Based on your answer above, what prerequisites would you suggest to have in place in regards to content (blog posts, products, classes, etc.) so that you can meet the requirement of 15-25 unique URL links? I'm assuming this requires that your site have at least 15 to 25 posts or products so you can create relative Pins these links?
Hey, thanks so much for this video, super helpful! Question... with a paid account, are you only allow to integrate it with "only one" of your websites? Or can I promote multiple sites? Thx
Hi Anastasia! I’m watching your videos on auto! How many blog posts would you say you should have before resorting to tailwind? I have only 6 posts so not sure if it’s worth it but am already finding it hard to keep track of my 9 personal boards and 9 group boards.
Hi there. If you are already making about 5 variations of pins to each post, then I suggest you start with Tailwind already. As you said, you are already finding it hard to keep track of your boards so Tailwind is going to be a great help for you :)
Hi Anastasia, thank you very much for this tutorial! Makes it easier to figure out everything. One question though. Let's say I create a pin and set it to publish in 3 of my boards with an interval of 1 day using tailwind. What if on day 3 I create a new pin on my board #3 which coincides with the scheduled pin from a tailwind that I did 2 days ago. I result in two pins saved on the same board in one day. Can this be a problem? What if they have the same URL? Thanks in advance!
Yes, this can be a problem. I recommend saving only one pin linked to the same URL per day. So to avoid saving 2 images linked to the same page in one day, you can select the date when the first pin of the second image will be saved. You can even set it in the same window for all 3-5 pin versions, I have it in the Tailwind course anastasiablogger.com/tailwind-course/
Awesome tutorial. Thanks a bunch. I have a question. Between uploading pins directly from your site to different boards through tailwind and saving to pinterest first and repinning from there through tailwind to the different boards, which do you think is better? Whenever i repin through tailwind, i notce that the original pin and the scheduled pin have different impression counts and pin counts on pinterest and it kinda bothers me. Thanks
Just be consistent with posting and pinning and your hands will eventually get full overtime that you will need to have a scheduler. Honestly, it's a rewarding problem to have 😉
thank you very much for this tutorial. (new subscriber here) and I have a question, I am in the travel niche, I don't see getting many repins from the tailwind tribes, I am in the travel niche and I really do my best to make my pins look as beautiful as possible. In your opinion, what are the best performing niches in the tailwind tribe? x
Hi there! One factor is you might be in a tribe that is not active at all. I have talked more about Tailwind Tribes and how you can find the right tribe on my video here: th-cam.com/video/6jTP9hDhDbg/w-d-xo.html
Hey, thanks for this super helpful video! How much does the engagement score matter? I used a follower bot to gather follower so I have a pretty low engagement rate. Thank you so much! :)
Thank you Ana, I have a question: when I schedule other people's pin in for example 4 of my boards and set up an interval of two days does that mean that tailwind puts that pin in each of those boards only once or does that mean tailwind keeps putting the same pins again in the same boards? For example I have a flower board, a landscaping board, a container board and a garden board and I see someone has a pin with an image of a flower and I add it to my tailwind scheduler and choose these four boards, set up the interval to two days, optimise the time and then add it to schedule....what happens next? does tailwind adds this particular flower to each of my boards only once or it keeps adding the flower again and again every two days?
Hi Ana, how many pins i must have to go with a tailwind. because i have around 100 my own pins for my website. will tailwind help me? or should i go with manual pinning?
these 100 pins are for how many pages on your site? If you have at least 5 boards relevant for each post (which you should ideally), you might have a hard time tracking to which board and when you saved this specific pin. But I also know some bloggers are doing it manually and tracking every pin they saved in an Excel file. Another consideration is timezone. Since most of the audience you get from Pinterest is in the US, you want to be active around 9-10 PM EST on weekdays. And for me, Tailwind is the only way to pin at that time since I'm in Europe.
You can do that but it won't really hurt to repin every once in a while since that can also help prevent your account from being considered as spammy by Pinterest :)
Super Video !! I have a question that if I want to get more traffic to my own website then can I update the url (which was linking to some other site before) to my website in Tailwind ? if I do this, will my account be suspended ?
Great question, unfortunately, we can only add a pin description in Tailwind. Page SEO title and page SEO description (which show up in Rich pins on Pinterest), will be fetched by Tailwind from your page automatically. So you can't define a custom pin title. If you have Rich pins enabled and they work correctly, Tailwind will fetch post SEO title. If the Rich pins haven't been enabled or you have some issue with them, your pins will be saved by Tailwind with no pin title, just pin description which you can set manually. One thing you could do is after the pin was published, Pinterest now added inside the pin editing a field for pin title. So if Tailwind saves your pins with an empty title, you can later edit it on Pinterest. Not ideal, I know but I already asked Tailwind support about this specific issue. They told me that Pinterest's API only allows them to do certain things and if Pinterest adds this functionality to the API, then Tailwind will be happy to provide the pin title editing feature.
Thank you so much for your great video! I have a question I would love your insight on. I am a newbie and shared a pin to a tribe a few weeks ago. This pin.. now has a Blue Flame with a number of over 2 Million in the top right corner! However, I have not noticed an increase in my month viewers nor has this pin gone "viral" in any way that I can see. I cannot imagine why it would have such high popularity on tailwind but no correlation to my engagement on Pinterest?
Hi there! One reason is that your tribe members have repinned it to their boards but not a lot of people has actually clicked-through your pin. However, wait for about 2 weeks because this is where Pinterest starts to rank your pins.
Hi Anastacia...do you have any advise for someone who struggles to keep up with scheduling multiple pins (per post) to boards and group boards, Without it being duplicate. I'm struggling to keep up
Hi, Emma! I would suggest to schedule your pin variations of one blog post to 10 boards at first and have a 2-day interval for each pin redirecting to the same URL. You can watch the best practices on Pinterest in my other video here: th-cam.com/video/bVRuocAVc5U/w-d-xo.html
Why not? You can bulk schedule them but make sure they are scheduled in a way that you save not more than one pin from the same post a day. Use intervals in Tailwind.
Anastasia Blogger I mean how do you upload a lot of pins with the same description and titles? I’ve seen so many people on Pinterest do it and I can’t figure it out

Hi Anastasia. I don't have much content on my Pinterest profile.. i am confused what should I post on will it get clicks from Pinterest..how to write content for Pinterest?
HI there! You can simply start promoting your blog posts on Pinterest since it will give you free traffic. You can watch my video here: th-cam.com/video/aGkzCJbYKds/w-d-xo.html
Yes it is! Each pin needs to have at least 5 relevant boards on your Pinterest account and you can save to them all but NOT IN ONE DAY. Spread them out with Tailwind intervals so you don't save more than one pin per day.
Hi Anastasia, do we need a blog in order to be successful with Pinterest. I only when and online store wirh only items. It’s not a blog at all. Can Pinterest still be done well
Hi, Mary. You can still be successful on Pinterest even without a blog! You can start with affiliate marketing or publish links directly to your products: th-cam.com/video/cIa0UEcHTvo/w-d-xo.html
Anastasia Blogger hi!! Omg thank you so so much for writing me back! I am so happy I got an answer for that because I’ve been racking my brain lol. I LOVE your content btw so thank you so much for putting it out there for us to learn from you. Can I ask one more thing? Do all the boards have to represent your “brand” in order for success? For instance. I’m a photographer but I also sell skin care. I’m also a mom and a painter. Should I just keep all those boards I’ve spent years building lol? Or should I just stick within skincare/wellness type stuff and keep the other stuff private. I looked at your board and you seem to have all kind of niches as well.
Hi there! I use the regular plan and I have 10 Tribes and 80 pins on one account because I was grandfathered when Tribes were just introduced. I recommend you to start with the 5 Tribes and then see how it goes for you. If you get too many powerups from the beginning, it might be overwhelming to reciprocate in all the tribes. I barely handle reciprocating in the 10 tribes I'm part of. I rarely submit my 80 pins per months in Tribes.
@@Sindre1 yes just 250 and I use only 142 of them at the moment. I don't rely on SmartLoop too much because Pinterest strategy that works well nowadays requires creating a lot of new pins. Smartloop is looping my old pins. It's good for seasonal pins, holiday-related and such. So you don't have to remember 1 year later to repin them, the loop will do it for you.
Hello mam, I have been using tailwind for a month but there is no difference in Pinterest traffic. Even when I did not use Tailwind, my traffic was the same as after using tailwind. Any suggestion ...
Tailwind is not meant to affect your traffic :) it's just a tool that helps you replace a big part of manual pinning. If you are able to do everything you need to do manually, well, then Tailwind is not necessary at your current workload.
Hi Anastasia I have started using Tailwind thanks to you, what I have noticed is if I schedule same pin to 10 different boards and post them with 2 days intervals,it considers the first pin only as fresh pin and the other same pin scheduled after 2 days as repins because after 2 days when the same pin is posted it shows the same statistics of that pin (same clicks, saves, imp.),so what is the point of repins if the statistics remain same or am I doing something wrong?
Hi there! Yes, if you schedule a published pin to your other boards, it will be considered a repin of that fresh pin. This is a way to help boost your pin by letting Pinterest know what kind of pin it is (category, interest, etc) by saving into your other relevant boards.
Hi there! This video was published in May 2019, we are now in May 2020. Since then, the course has been updated several times and the price is $67 now.
@@AnastasiaBloggerthanks for the response. I am currently using tailwind but no significant result. I will buy the course and see how can it help. Thanks!
You should have your own default templates for your pins so that when you do need to make new pins, you just need to change the image and maybe change the text colors or fonts :) That makes it easier than starting a layout by scratch. And of course, I schedule everything with Tailwind that's why I don't need to be on the platform 24/7.
Hi, Kevin! Tailwind is an authorized Pinterest scheduler and this hasn't changed since I made this video. Pinterest doesn't seem to treat pins saved manually or via Tailwind differently. Tailwind is just a tool that can save you time and sanity because saving 15-25 pins a day and tracking that you are not repetitive, when you do it manually can be quite a challenge.
Hi there! You can actually schedule video pins on Tailwind. You just need to click the Create New Pin dropdown and there you will see Upload photos/videos.
Hi Anastasia, on a video it says the tailwind course is $37. Yet on the the link below it says $67. I saw a $30 Coupon for the course but how do I get the coupon?
Hi, Carlos! I pinned in the first comment that the current price of this course is $67. I have no idea where you saw any $30 coupon for the course. I only mentioned on the sales page there is a $30 bonus from Tailwind scheduler for new clients of the scheduler who move from a free trial to a paid plan. This video is over a year old, TH-cam doesn't allow editing published videos, so I can't change it. And at that time it wasn't a smart move to mention the price of the course as it was a completely new course. I updated it several times since then, the current price is $67.
I've been an avid personal user of pinterest for years and years now, and I pin mostly things that relate to my blog niche I just started. I'm wondering if its a better idea for me to convert my personal account to a business or just start fresh? I have 362 followers on my account and I have 150 boards and I'm guessing atleast 75% of them relate to my niche. Do you think Pinterest would give me a boost for having an aged account or should I just start fresh?
Hi there! I would suggest to just convert your current account to a business account since you already have a well-established set of boards and followers :)
When you say you are posting 10 pins a day, is this all your own content or does this include repins? I am starting a new business and I feel coming up with 10 posts a day would take up a significant amount of time
Hi there! It does include other repins because posting ONLY all your pins every single day may cause spam :) So your pins should be 80% your pins and 20% other repins
@@AnastasiaBlogger Thank you, I guess if you are using your pins multiple times across different boards and as well just reusing them every 4+ months lessens the burden a little as well.
Hi, Fiona and anyone else interested in my Tailwind Course anastasiablogger.com/tailwind-course/! I published this video about TW on TH-cam over a year ago, and at that time it was quite a new course which indeed was sold at that price. Since then, I''ve done several big updates to the course and the current price is $67. I can't edit anything in the existing videos on TH-cam because you doesn't not have that functionality, so I learned my lesson - never mention specific prices in the videos :)
Hi Anatasia, May I ask about the best time to post on Tailwind tribe so that we can get more repins from other Tribe member? The amount of pins we can submit is limited, so I want to make the best use of it. I have problem figure out the best time to submit my pins. Thank you very much:)
Hi there! You can always monitor on when the Tribes' members are online or when there's a lot of activity. But usually, I pin at night (US timezone) since that is usually when people are free :)
Hi there! When was your Pinterest suspended, was it in the last few days? I am receiving messages from people on this video th-cam.com/video/ueI6UkZpP_g/w-d-xo.html every time Pinterest has a new wave or automatic spam suspensions. It looks like in the last few days there are more cases of this so I hope if you contact Pinterest as suggested in that video, you'll get your account back soon. It might be just a coincidence that you tried to use Tailwind and your account got suspended. Tailwind has quite clear warnings that will not recommend you saving too many pins linked to the same page in a short period of time.
not that I know of :) I wish there was an easy way... but anything needs a little bit of work and effort. What I like about Pinterest traffic and working online with websites, in general, is that it's scalable. If you can at some point afford a virtual assistant who would design pins for you, probably that would allow you to scale even faster.
Do you mean you do not have a blog or website? You can start with affiliate marketing if that's the case. Here's a video of mine: th-cam.com/video/cIa0UEcHTvo/w-d-xo.html
Sorry this happened to you. Pinterest is doing some major updates (including new analytics), big changes are often is accompanied with pretty massive issues with suspended accounts.
Thanks for sharing, awesome video!
Thank you!
so i dont get it if im flying with beoing 737-800 and i have 30 knots Tailwind thats a bad thing right?
Thank you for this detailed explanation.
Thank you for watching my videos! :)
Anastasia Blogger they really help me learn! I appreciate all the research you do to relay the info to us. I know it’s a lot of work
Hey, thanks so much for this video, super helpful! Question... with a paid account, are you only allow to integrate it with "only one" of your websites?
@@AnastasiaBloggerThanks for the reply! I will consider checking your course
Thanks a lot for all of your valuable information about tailwind.
Thank you!! This is super helpful.
Awesome, thank you for watching!
Thanks
The video is great but I don't know when I will ever get to this stage. It's A LOT!!!!
10-30 times pins, Can we post one article details with different images?
Hey, thanks for this super helpful video! How much does the engagement score matter? I used a follower bot to gather follower so I have a pretty low engagement rate.
Thank you so much! :)
Guys, here you have a Coupon on TAILWIND www.tailwindapp.com/i/aleksander2422
Hi Anastasia,
Regarding the tailwind free trial where I can publish only 100 scheduled pins, do the pins of other people counted on that????
Yes, it does!
Tailwind only pins your pin only once on your board unless you reschedule them again to those boards :)
@@AnastasiaBlogger That was an excellent answer...exactly what i was not sure and wanted to know. Thank you for clarifying it
Hi Ana, how many pins i must have to go with a tailwind. because i have around 100 my own pins for my website. will tailwind help me? or should i go with manual pinning?
these 100 pins are for how many pages on your site? If you have at least 5 boards relevant for each post (which you should ideally), you might have a hard time tracking to which board and when you saved this specific pin. But I also know some bloggers are doing it manually and tracking every pin they saved in an Excel file. Another consideration is timezone. Since most of the audience you get from Pinterest is in the US, you want to be active around 9-10 PM EST on weekdays. And for me, Tailwind is the only way to pin at that time since I'm in Europe.
I notice most big brand names never pin other peoples pins..... would it be better to follow what they do for branding ?
You can do that but it won't really hurt to repin every once in a while since that can also help prevent your account from being considered as spammy by Pinterest :)
Super Video !!
I have a question that if I want to get more traffic to my own website then can I update the url (which was linking to some other site before) to my website in Tailwind ?
if I do this, will my account be suspended ?
Hi there! Are you still wondering about this or have you solved it? I can help if you are still questioning this :)
How we can add titles like we can add on pinterest tailwind don't have seprate option for title or discrption i'm confuse please clear
@@AnastasiaBlogger Thanks so much for getting back! :) I will do that
Hi Anastacia...do you have any advise for someone who struggles to keep up with scheduling multiple pins (per post) to boards and group boards, Without it being duplicate.
So how do you bulk schedule pins from the same blog post?
Why not? You can bulk schedule them but make sure they are scheduled in a way that you save not more than one pin from the same post a day. Use intervals in Tailwind.
Anastasia Blogger I mean how do you upload a lot of pins with the same description and titles? I’ve seen so many people on Pinterest do it and I can’t figure it out
@@daylight1440 Use tailwind browser extension.
Marie Ann A. Pabica thank you!
@@daylight1440 there is a red plus sign on the Pinterest dashboard on the right upper corner. I make a pin in Canva, duplicating and changing colors/background whatever, do this about 14 times. download. Glad you like them!🙌
Hi, how manny pin design should i make per blog post? Thank you!
Hi there! You can do as many as you want but I would suggest to try out 5 pins at first and see how it goes :)
How many pins can we post maximum per day ?
Hi there. The recommended pinning volume is between 15 and 25 pins a day. Make sure they’re all not redirecting to the same url of course.
is ir recommended to share the same pin to different boards?
Yes it is! Each pin needs to have at least 5 relevant boards on your Pinterest account and you can save to them all but NOT IN ONE DAY. Spread them out with Tailwind intervals so you don't save more than one pin per day.
Anastasia Blogger thanks for the answer😊😊 but why not on the same day?
How many blog post do you need to get started ? I have about 50 articles.
Hi there! 50 articles is more than enough and a great way to start your blog! I say go at it :) Good luck on your blogging journey!
Hi :)
Which Tailwind payment plan and PowerUps do you have?
I can't work out which ones I should choose.
@@AnastasiaBloggerThanks :)
So you only have the standard 250 active SmartLoop pins? I was worried that wouldn't be enough.
@@AnastasiaBlogger Ok, thanks. This helps a lot :)
@@AnastasiaBlogger Thank you so much MAM
@@AnastasiaBlogger So repins does not improve clicks because it shows only fresh pin statistics,so what is the importance of repins then?
Hi, the tailwind course as stated in the video is just $37, why it is $67 on the checkout page? Why the price increase?
Hi there! This video was published in May 2019, we are now in May 2020. Since then, the course has been updated several times and the price is $67 now.
@@AnastasiaBloggerthanks for the response. I am currently using tailwind but no significant result. I will buy the course and see how can it help. Thanks!
Nice ones
Thank you for watching! :)
Hi Anastasia, I am really struggling to create enough pins to keep up with even 10 of my own pins per day. What is your advice/strategy for this?
You should have your own default templates for your pins so that when you do need to make new pins, you just need to change the image and maybe change the text colors or fonts :) That makes it easier than starting a layout by scratch. And of course, I schedule everything with Tailwind that's why I don't need to be on the platform 24/7.
Is Tailwind still a reliable source to use for Pinterest? and does Pinterest like it more if we use Tailwind? Amazing content like always
Love it!
Thank you for following my videos, Viktoria!
Why tailwind not work for video pins ?? Is this right Please
@@AnastasiaBlogger ok thank you!
Hi, you mentioned your course is $37 but when you go to the link its $65. Is that correct? love your information.
Hi Anatasia,
May I ask about the best time to post on Tailwind tribe so that we can get more repins from other Tribe member? The amount of pins we can submit is limited, so I want to make the best use of it. I have problem figure out the best time to submit my pins. Thank you very much:)
Hi there! You can always monitor on when the Tribes' members are online or when there's a lot of activity. But usually, I pin at night (US timezone) since that is usually when people are free :)
How can me pinning other people’s content increase traffic to my website ?
Hi there! It can't. However, it can increase your Pinterest impressions if you do not have that much posts to pin.
Thanks for clearing the confusion. Btw I love your content. I have learned a lot
How do you view how many repins someone else's pin has in Tailwind?
It will show a blue flame with the number of total repins (on Tailwind, not on Pinterest itself)
Nice
Thanks for watching!
I tried this and my Pinterest account got suspended. So I’m kind of scared to save pins to multiple ways
Is their any way to design pins automatically 😂
not that I know of :) I wish there was an easy way... but anything needs a little bit of work and effort. What I like about Pinterest traffic and working online with websites, in general, is that it's scalable.
If you can at some point afford a virtual assistant who would design pins for you, probably that would allow you to scale even faster.
You’re the best
