She's not dead. She'll appear if you do the frenzied flame ending to cow vengeance. Also- she seems to zip easily from the spectral realm to the real instantly- I don't think she necessarily has a flesh form to speak of, not the whole thing the way Ranni did pre black knife night...
she is dead if you trigger this cutscene. if you let her burn herself and then claim frenzied flame, you will NOT see that cutscene that she says "Lord of Frenzied Flame... I will seek you, as far as you may travel... To deliver you what is yours. Destined Death." you will only see her after the ending when you go to 3 fingers before sitting at the fire giant's forge. giant's flame, like frenzied flame, has the ability to kill a spirit for good.
