I once bought my granddaughter's cat a toy that popped up thinks through the holes in the top. She watched it a few times, got the pattern down and knocked each one out and that was the end of playing with that. Then I bought her a toy that moved around on wheels that had a laser light that she was supposed to look at on the walls and chase! But she was more interested in catching the toy and throwing it on its side. That was a waste. Animals are smart.
