I don’t understand why anyone would complain about an old video when I watch them over and over anyway. Sherpa is wonderful to watch and always comes before anything else especially when it concerns his health.
I was sitting here watching videos, feeling very drowsy. Nodding in and out of sleep. A certain husky's howl suddenly jolted me into an alert state! I stared into the face of Sherpa and after a few minutes we were both calmed down. Fun!!!
Love it! Jamie to Sherpa: "Your comfort and happiness are more important than a bit of wet and damp and mould." Perfect! And then, "Come on into your wet, smelly, steamed-up car..." That's the spirit! As for the carpet, I once had a patient who, whenever she was dreadfully ill, would look at me with great happiness and say "I treat it with ignore." Perhaps you could treat the wet carpet with "ignore" - at least for a while? 💕💕🐾🐾

Jamie the rugs are fairly new. Look on the manufacturer's tags to see the preferred cleaning methods. You could try spot cleaning. Let the "mud" dry & then vacuum the areas really well. Then just wet a rag and rub the carpet in those areas to get the dirt up. There are carpet spot cleaners too. Other options would be to take the rugs outside on your patio, lay them out and steam clean them. That way they can dry in the sun. But I wouldn't do that until next summer when you know it will be warm. For now, maybe put a new small rug outside the back door and one on the inside (an old towel would work too) to help with tracking in. Thanks for sharing you day and life with us! Regarding a carpet cleaner, I would recommend the Bissell Pro heat 2x Pet Pro. Mine is fab and removes all paw prints and grime from my carpets and rugs. 👍🏻

The battery could be one of three things: 1. A remnant of you old livin situation(in little driving during this time, this can be a possible culprit for possibility 2) 2. The battery has a problem from like the cold 3. The dynamo could be faulty(a way that this shows itself possibly is a grumbly sound or a high pitched noise)
They can be tiresome, but you both have to take care of each other...😊 You might want to take the Mini to the dealer ( or to the store where you bought the original battery's replacement)to have the battery & perhaps the electrical system checked...if the alternator is ok, then it is the battery that's acting up...

Battery is probably older than you think. Just replaced the one in Mom's van yesterday. Turned out to be 3 years old with a 2 year warranty, of course. Probably about time to be giving Sherp's a helping hand all the time when entering vehicles. I am having to help our 14 year old whippet up onto the bed when she wants to sleep up there. It really stinks when they get old. Oh and, check the battery connections for corrosion as well.
Now I thank know you Jamie because you use the world " old " to remind us that Sherpy is getting old because we love him so much that we would want him to be eternal. Thank you Jamie ❤❤😊
05:36 - You'll need to 'load test' the battery to see for sure if it's going bad. A battery can show proper volts and still be bad, a load test will show the amps usage of the battery and tell you if the amps are bad, amps are what turns over the starter to start the engine, and some other uses in the car.

Battery connectors due look like they need som TLC, wire wool and vaseline will do the trick
