It's great that you were able to still source parts for the truck - the wait may be an inconvenience, but at least you don't have to get 1 part here, another part there - you know what I'm talking about.
Man I found one about 8 hours away that I'm thinking about resurrecting and trying to drive it home instead of trailer it. Really looking forward to the rest of the brake video. Did the rears leak? Kinda hoping you do the rears just in case I need to 🤣 Any chance you could share the part numbers for all this stuff?
Could you please give me some part numbers on the brake parts, especially the master cylinder. I have the same van but can’t find the right brake parts at which is all I need to drive! Thank you i would really appreciate it.
If its a GM chassis like mine you can find all the parts and number on Rockauto.com. They will be listed as a Chevrolet P20 for everything but rear brakes. Rear brakes are under P30.

Just picked up a 1947 Willys StorDor 18' Stepvan. This is a great motivator for me so please keep these up!

Yeah most of it is pretty common but some things are not stocked at the parts store anymore because of its age.

Enjoying your video. Tell me- does that van originally have a truck frame or a van frame. Thinking of buying one and would like to know
Thank you. Im not sure on the frame. I believe it is exclusive to the grumman.
👍🏼
Boa tarde FIRST vai amém bom trabalho
Obrigado
Can you tell me where you found your vin # I have one very similar please I've been looking for vin for about a week

Why are there holes in the waterpump?
Where are you finding the parts diagrams?
You have to look online for the GM factory truck manuals for the specs since this has a GM truck chassis
I have a 1966 Chevy van it's my Mobil welding shop
They definitely can be handy for many things. Im thinking about leaving mine blank for the next person to set it up the way they want to.
Looks like getting a V8 to fit would be a no go.
@@bthorn5035 there is room. That is the future plans
@@4LaneBlacktop a screaming 289 would be tits!
@@bthorn5035 I will be putting it on a 2004 Chevrolet van chassis with a 6.0 v8
Brake parts from RockAuto?
Yes. I have never had any issues with them. You cant beat the price. I do tend not to choose the very cheap parts though.
Use them all the time same thing I go with middle of the road prices
@@kevinjaeger9648 Sometimes I do spring for the higher end part depending on what it is going on.
Is that a Chevrolet motor
Yes, it is a 235ci inline 6 cylinder.
