hello sir, loved your video, is this good for marathons 5 kms or 10 kms ? ghost 15 is a bit over my budget . I have only done 2 marathons till date so i am not a pro. have done just 2 marathons in 4 months so thats the frequency. kindly advice should i go for brooks anthem 5 , launch 9 or GTS launch 9 ?
What are you running in now first question. Launch 9 is fine GTS if you need extra pronation support but I find GTS quite awkward. You might actually also look at Brooks Revel or Trace $100 or so retail or a Puma Velocity Nitro which can be found on sale.
Thanks so much and much appreciated! There is a herd of elk in the area but so far due I think to the very deep snow no sign of them and fewer moose and deer and when we see them they are on the streets. Did think I saw a cougar once in winter.
Have you ran in Hyperion tempo? Is so is the mid foot of this a bit more wide? I feel my mid foot slants inward and over the medial side of the tempo and I am looking at these
I did run Tempo some but a long time ago so I can't recall the fit that well. one thing you will get with the Launch GTS are the medial side wall Guide Rail which may help with that issue
I have previously suffered with knee pain over longer distances so was suggested the Ravenna 10. The guide rails offered the extra support needed for longer distances but the tongue didn’t reach high enough to provide enough padding. I also needed to go half a size down than normal due to my heel slipping. Have finally decided to replace them after years of constant use and wondered if the same was true for this shoe?

Same reason I’m here friend. Very sad to see Ravenna being retired - I’ve had 3 pairs. Gts 9 hard to find, going to try the 8
Is this waterproof or water repellant atleast?
