- If you still aren't convinced to visit Iceland...well this is our final shot at making sure you know why you should visit this insane country!
After awaking at our campsite in Gerdi, we made our way to Skaftafell National Park to go for a glacier walk on Vatnajökull... without the proper gear as we had none of our Iceland clothes..but we will make it work!
After the insane walk on the Glacier we made our way to the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon to go on a boat to explore the ice right up and close and in the water before heading to Diamond beach...one of the most unique beaches we have ever visited!
On our final day here in Iceland we packed up our tents before making our way back to Reykjavik, but not before seeing the famous DC3 Plane Wreck.

I LOVE Iceland. One of the most amazing places in the world. We did a road trip around Iceland few years back and it was just breathtaking. We spent a night in that airplane wreck with my friend and saw the northern lights that night. What an experience!
We had such a good weather all the time. I kind of want to go back but the trip was so perfect I don't want those memories to change. ❤

What month did you visit? I want to see the northern lights but also do not want to miss out on awesome stuff because of too cold weather/ snow storms. Also whale watching is a DREAM.

I was in Iceland two Januaries ago; ice and snow everywhere. So enjoyed seeing many of the same sights without the snow and ice. FUN!!

You should come back in the winter to visit the glaciers. They are so much more blue and beautiful during that season.

Been to Iceland just last month and the road closures you experience during snowstorms are scary. Better be prepared if you plan to visit there during winter as there are A LOT of road closures during snow storms you might get stranded.

A few tips, don't shop at 10-11 if you are on a budget. Use Bónus or Krónan, those are the cheapest ones.
For the 007 fans then the Glacier lagoon has been featured in at least 2 Bond movies, A View To a Kill & Die Another Day ;)

Awww guys I was wondering if your luggage ever found its way back to you!! So relieved! And of course the reunion happens just before you leave there! :) To say you are troopers would be a crude understatement. You forged ahead like nothing went wrong. And this Iceland series has been nothing short of legendary. Then again, I feel the same about the last one! And the one before that! A single thumbs up is not nearly enough. You have the ability to convince the most reluctant traveler to visit any country, not just a stunning place like Iceland :)

Came back from my one week trip to Iceland with a huge sadness in my heart. Definitely going back again next year. Such an amazing country. Btw, I got the same yellow rain jacket. I could not find any other size beside xl but still do love it 😃

Congratulations on your returned luggage. What a pity you didn’t get to use your prepared outfits and footwear. Fortunately the weather was on your side until the end. Incidentally, I was really surprised to see your Channel’s section was blank.

That was a wonderful series. I have a question and I know you both will be honest, could a person with disability's, do any kind of trip to Iceland.. It is such a beautiful country..
This is a great question! Depending on what the disability is, there is actually a company called Iceland Unlimited who creates trips to Iceland to help make the country accessible to anyone that wants to go :) They have tours that take groups to basically all the spots we went to!
