For those wondering the "You'll regret it" was a warning and way to stop rudeus from saving roxy cuz Roxy and rudeus's child(lara) would end up killing him in the future

Nah, he WANTED Rudy to go, because that would mean that Rudy would trust him next time(because he regretted Pauls death) meaning that Rudy would go to the basement when Hitogami told him
@@nugget6820 I think he wanted him to go to see the regret himself and to make rudeus trust him more I agree. Because rudeus had deep regret with what happened to both of his parents but doesn't see the blessing he received in saving roxy and the entire verse from hitogami in their child Lara. I feel like rudeus always blames himself for every little thing thats happened to him and he sometimes forgets that theirs blessings all around him. And hitogami does a good job hiding that from rudeus.

in an interview the author had confirmed if Rudeus didn't go help Paul and go rescue Roxy, Roxy would have die in the dungeon no matter what. For ln reader, yes Roxy have strong destiny but strong destiny only made a person harder to kill, not making the person unable to be kill so yes Roxy and anyone with strong destiny can be kill, it would just be harder than other people
This hits hard when you remember that in his previous life, he shut off all of the people he cared and the same people who cared for him.
I loved seeing him slowly realize that over time and making real effort to be a better person for his family and himself. It’s tear jerking

It's reasonable tbh. He already knew Hitogami couldn't be trusted but all the words he said thus far helped him. The fact that it was cryptic would cause anyone to have a panic attack.
Rudeus shows he become such a great person a complete oposite of his previous life and Oldeus time loop as he cared so much for his family he didnt care he was injure and exausted he wanted to make sure Sylphy, Norn and Aisha are safe and after confirming it the willpower he use to reach the house left him so he lost conciousnes

Nah he was threatening him indirectly. He wanted to use Rudy so he didn't outright threaten him instead he tried to softly stop him from going on the mission cause he knew Rudy and Roxy would meet up. If Rudy had listened to him then Roxy would've died alone in the Labyrinth.

I just had a thought. If Hitogami REALLY didnt wan't rudeus going to the labrynth, then why did he allow Geese to send the letter? Its later revealed that Geese took Hitogami's words as gospel, he could've easily told him "Don't send that letter" and the result wouldve been the same.

Honestly with the way things are looking, there will be 25 episodes with a special one as well. 20 is seeing Paul again, guessing 21 -23 might be in the labyrinth and saving zenith. 24-25 the trip and making it home with the special bring just a we all home then ending scene cuts to Eris on a mountain looking over ronoa kingdom. LOL something like that maybe they will cut a few things out as usual with anime but we should see rudy return home this season.
Ideally it should be as this is in volume 12 season should end with Lucy's birth and Roxys marriage

It’s so crazy how this story is so good, and I enjoy everything, and then I remember the MC is a pedo.
I’ve seen so many people criticize Paul for his treatment of Rudy since he treats him more like an adult/peer than as his son, but people forget he really IS a grown man. It’s kind of odd that the author does such good work expanding on the mental conditions of all the characters, especially Rudy, but never addresses the fact that this dude is mentally in his 40s having children with teenagers and saving things like virginity blood-soaked garments. Dude is legitimately a weirdo who never seems to have the introspection that what he’s done is not normal. Narratively, Nanahoshi would’ve been the perfect agent to deliver this message if she knew how old Rudeus was.

Zenith does get saved, but her mind is in a dreamlike state. She understands what's going on but sees it as sort of a dream. She can't communicate or even take care of herself.

From what I recall, he loses his right arm as well, then gets healed with a King level healing spell to restore both of his arms. Then he later gets both arms cut, which are replaced by a special sort of prosthetic. He gets those healed as well later.

By this point in the LN (actually already by the time Norn shuts herself in her room), Rudeus is about as tall as Paul and looks a lot more like him. Paul hugs him while standing up, showing how much he's grown.
No clue why they made the choice to do it differently in the show.
