This would also help stop vibrations of plastic against the bottom of the windshield

      Richard,
I am not even kidding. I was shocked at the quality and ease of install. I wish I had known about this year’s ago, and all my other vehicles.

One our first mods! I was having issues with the front window cover getting down into that area between windshield and dash. Now, no more issues. Easy install. Thanks again for another great idea!

Thank you for supporting our channel. It’s such a simple and very low cost mod too.

Richard, just a follow up to share. Thursday while visiting a Harvest Host location, the temps dropped and we had the typical condensation accumulation on the front windows. The nice thing is the rubber gasket helped prevent the water from dropping between the windshield and the dash. $14.00 investment is worth every penny now.
I have a link for your future collections of things to purchase.

Great question. Yes. I plan on purchasing one for my Sprinter as well.

Different topic, but related to EKKO wind noise.... Have you ever made any modifications to the exterior joints over the cab between the roof faring in an attempt to improve wind noise? That always looks like it might be a potential noise source on the EKKO.

Hello, thanks for following our channel. As for the roof/faring, believe it or not that is a pretty solid area. Either Winnebago got very luck and nailed by chance or they heavily considered what was necessary. I’m gonna lean toward it was by chance that it played out well because of other factors related to the need to ensure ZERO water infiltration.
Now the screen door as well as the metal Tail gate package are two areas that make the most rattling of all.

@@ekkonesters599 Ok, good to know. Thanks for all the great EKKO videos. I've been following your postings quite closely, and you provide some great user advice. Hoping to become an EKKO owner in the not too distant future, so your advice is much appreciated. The one area of the EKKO that seems less than great is the road noise issue, but your postings on tire upgrades and door modifications, and some of the other viewer's comments on using an insulated blanket behind the driver seem like practical solutions.

@@pearldiver7 hello, yes we’ve used the insulation blanket to dampen sound, but to be quite upfront, I’m not a fan of it. I like the open feeling between the cab and coach/living area.
But it’s effective to use for sure.
