The Bombe Mane started in 2005 in Mysuru to save our one of the culture called Gombe Habba (bombe habba) which is celebrated during the Dasara Navaratri in various places.
BOMBE MANE has a huge collection of dolls which represents different facets of the country`s cultural heritage
Also u can find some theme concepts here
Kodanda Rama set, the divine pairs of Radha Krishna, Brahma Saraswathipuram, Shiva Parvati, Lakshmi Narayana, the dioramas of Rama and his entourage flying in the pushpaka vimana, Kumbakaranni fighting in the battle, Nagara said, Surya Nam as Kara, Shravanakumara taking his parents etc
Also the new additions of this year in Bombe Mane are : Darmasthala Manjunatha, Horanadu Annapoorneshwari, Kolluru Mooka bike, Tulaja Bhavaji, Mysuru Chamundeshwari etc
So with self Motivation the Bombe Mane started to sell the dolls to save the culture and also every year they not only sell during dasara they introduced new concept exhibition too.
This year 17th Edition of Dolls Extravaganza are
Vithala varkari tradition
Vithala darshana in pandharipura
75th Indian Independence theme
Model of Mysore City Corporation, DC office building, St Philomenas Cathedral church
The display made excellent which gives additional beauty to bombe mane.
Once enter to bombe mane u feel u entered to different dolls world by seeing various dolls which brings smile on ur face also those collections of dolls reflects the culture flavor of the country.
Its people, their lives, and their festivals and their gods.
So let's save the tradition of Gombe Habba.
