I have started watching your TH-cam Chanel in the summer and you made me reconsider a lot about make up. I am in my mid 50’s and although I do a lot in skin care I have given up in make up. Watching your videos have helped me a lot. I am a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury as well and a brand which I believe is superb in make up and skin care as well is Lancome.Their lipsticks and lipglosses,mascaras ,pencils are absolutely amazing!

Unfortunately, we don't have Sephora in the U.K.any longer (something we said)😩! And we can't buy from the US website any longer either. if we type in Sephora it automatically takes us to the French site, which is a nightmare in itself getting things posted from the EU to the U.K. 😠. But I still like watching videos to see what we're missing out on!
Why oh why won’t they open here again 😞
As far as I can remember they pulled out of the U.K. in the early-ish 2000's. They dangled a carrot in front of our noses for years saying "well we possibly may return" then no, then possibly again. Then came the final no a few years back. And that was that. There was a Sephora in Southampton which was the nearest to where I lived, and one of the senior staff there told me that the rent and commercial rates of the store had increased too much, and that Sephora refused to pay. That was the reason the Southampton branch closed anyway. Whether this was the same nationwide, who knows. They've never given us a proper explanation as to why they pulled out, or to why we can no longer buy from the US site....I doubt they ever will now 😕.
I have same feelings here in Germany when I want to order the adventskalender from Liberty or Space NK😭 Having Sephora /Douglas doesn't help! 😳

Love all this, you are always stunning. Also from Sephora, my fav brow product that is like marrying the Brow Wiz with the Glossier Flick is Urban Decay's Brown Blade. The ink tip is extremely fine (finer than the Micro-Stroking Detailing Brow Pen) for what I think is an even better application.

I bought the whole store-lol. Way too much. I did pick up a lot of Charlotte Tilbury products- Magic cream, Contour Wand, Lip Cheat, and Exagger Eyes eyeshadow- you're right, that quad is amazing! Also picked up some blushes-Patrick Ta (not the palette that broke the internet, but the monochrome moment ones) and Laura Mercier in Chai-such a great color! Love your videos!
What is the make of that quad?
I use my CT Hollywood Flawless Filter under my Estée Lauder Double wear. I love the longevity of the Double Wear, but it can look to flat. The CT HFF coverts it to a radiant foundation. It’s an amazing combo I get tons of compliments on!

I already ordered - two Viseart pallets - a few concealers - Armani power fabric. Some Shiseido Synchro Radiant foundation and primer. I love Givenchy lipsticks and have a few - did not order any lip items. Not there yet as still wearing a mask in public here, but soon. Feel well - you look wonderful.
I needed this! Sephora sale for VIB started today and I have been trying to figure out what products to buy. I have wanted a concealer brush so I’m getting that, the Charlotte tilbury pressed powder and then I wanted to try a cream blush but the one you mentioned is a bit expensive. Got a watch some of your older videos to see which blush to get.

Look for Rare Beauty Blushes, or Fenty, they’re a bit more reasonable pricing wise a d good quality.

I looooove your videos! For skincare I got the Inkey list oat cleansing balm and retinol, the cleansing balm trio from Farmacy, the Tatcha rice cleanser and the Belief moisturize bomb moisturizer. I could see that you were getting tired but was just as determined to continue with your info as I was to listen to every word of it. Ali; I am so happy that I found you; absolutely the best. Tomorrow I will purchase many of the products that you recommended today. Sometimes watching too many videos with so many different advices; I just want to give up. But now I have decided to go only with your recommendations and advice. Thank you for admitting that you use your self tanner on specific areas so that you can wear a warmer makeup. I’m a beginner, and I saw your other videos on lip balms and blushes and wanted to get products that weren’t too loud for the skin or lips, based on those videos I went to Sephora and bought Charlotte Tilbury’s (CT) Happikiss Pillow Talk, Torrid by Nars and the Petal Poppin cream blush shade of Fenty Beauty by Rihanna! All gorgeous products! So a big thank you!
I’ll be going again to definitely invest in a beauty blender, the cleanser, and Sephora’s body lotion mentioned here, the Spotlight Beauty Wand by CT, lip mask by Laneige, the Sephora 57 concealer brush! I might also get there CT Pillow Talk Mascara, the Givenchy and CT lipsticks! This would hopefully be enough to complete a starter makeup kit for now and explore later once I’m comfortable using these ☺️
