I enjoy Brendan ever so slightly tilting his massive shoulders further left every episode. Soon we will have a podcast where we will have a video feed of his back
As an example of a hero that doesn’t play like their class, I’d say Boltyn fits that description the most. He definitely plays like a light hero but he plays more like a runeblade or ninja (other than blocking) than a warrior most of the time. V of the vanguard in particular definitely not anything close to a warrior. Although maybe Light Warrior is just it’s own thing - I guess we’ll see if future light warriors also rely on attack action cards
Been listening to the podcast alo e for so long I didn't even recognize Brendan! 😅 thanks for the updates. Only have one classic constructed deck (nuu) otherwise I have a bunch of blitz decks for jamming quick games and learning the game
From what I've seen people cooking up for Verdance, she seems more like a guardian that does arcane damage from time to time instead of a wizard and it's a bit of shame, as I like her art design the most
I think formats have been shaped now such that worse player has the best chance to excel in LL-format and that's actually pretty nice format and I expect it'll get popular.
Briar, and likely the upcoming lightning runeblade as an example for classes that do not play like their own. They just feel and play like a ninja / Elemental Fai, just generic go again with amp effects such as channel mount heroic as an example.
Ha, I feel like I manifested this with my question for command and cookout a few weeks ago. I'll give CnC and E-Strike another year before they're LL only cards :P

Long live the fab community
After the tears dried I am very happy about the changes
Great pod! Love the changes, I definitely recall Hayden's problem card pod not a bad little prediction!
Back in the day
Erta starvo where you only remove the go again. The power level of starvo goes from broken to good.
Briar was the hero that didn't feel like a Runeblade.
I'm awful at commenting, but I watch often while I mow the lawn and such. I really enjoyed this one, thanks folks.

Love these talks

I agree with the change overall but man does it eviscerate Kano.
I think Riptide with his trap cards and control playstyle doesnt feel like renger.

I'm switching to LL as my main format so I can actually play with some of the cards I paid a bunch of money for.
I expect that format to be popular actually. Works nicely for lower skill level too.
The bans are better for the game overall. Stack Kano was miserable to play into.
just get rid of blitz. Bring back the banned card advantage cards and relabel a new format called 'Classic Constructed Blitz'
