A huge percentage of Americans still use physical cash for their daily transactions and many people here still refuse to even use debit or credit cards so I think that it is still a long long way for the US to roll our digital currency en mass. So many people here have a fear of technology and are paranoid about their privacy. A lot of stores don’t even have the tap to pay or mobile pay option yet. We are so behind on the rest of the world not only in terms of payment systems but other things like education, infrastructure, and healthcare.
@@TheFivegoodemperors But it’s not made by Fed. So it’s no comparable at all. The point of a D-currency is that the fed controls it, otherwise it’s pointless.
Governments and companies around the world already have the ability to track and monitor credit cards, atm transactions, wire transfers, and even cash withdrawals over a certain amount of money.
Yes they can and I understand the freak out over CBDC's to be over control. I am only worried in how my entire life savings will go when something like this comes into play. If Canada does this where we can transfer money from our bank accounts to pay for things in digital cash i'm okay with it. Others all over tik tok want everyone to put money into xrp for the new dawn era of QFS Quantum Financial Services when the banks switch to CBDC's. They have access to our entire transactions if needed. The FBI, police can get warrants to access such information to back track where people have gone for crimes etc.
True but they cannot monitor when, where and what you spend cash on. They can, and do, with digital transactions. that's the point. It's none of the governments business if i need to buy anti-diarreah medicine at 9pm at walmart.
The fact that nobody is talking about this is TERRIFYING. Ever notice the most important subjects happen to be boring, intimidating, and loaded with jargon? (i.e., finance) pretty convenient for those in power huh?. Majority of humans don't understand how monetary systems work, and the pack-a-punched monetary system for this millennium is on the horizon. if you find a subject boring (like finance or government) that's because it's intended to be, and that's the exact mindset they want the little guy to have-"f**k this I'm gonna watch tik tok for three hours instead". When you say you "don't care" to learn about it you're lying to yourself; you're intimidated by the complexity and have no internal locus of control. Just f**king try to understand it, nobody can understand it for you but yourself. I've always felt weary about making public comments like this but I just don't give a f**k anymore. Plus, the people who really need to read the above won't even see this since their algorithm has them in an echo chamber of their little world. (i'm not saying i'm special or an exception, i'm not; i'm a f**kin idiot too! I found out I'm an idiot by learning stuff, and when I learn more tomorrow I'll realize how much of a bigger idiot I am). The danger is thinking you know it all.... nobody ever does or ever will. good night
You're doing a fantastic job! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Worried about the government tracking you for buying some snacks? Unless you're planning to so something illegal, I don't think you should be too worried about the government tracking you for buying some snacks. And no government has the time to track your snack buying habits.
That's not really true. You can't criticize the leaders in China because they're worried about western sponsored regime change, but you can constructively criticize policy, and it happens all the time. In China, you can't easily change the leaders, but you can change policy. In the West, the policies are often stuck in gridlock even though the leaders are a revolving door.
tell that to the canadian truckers who had their bank accounts frozen because they didn't want to be forced to take a vaccine shot to be able to do their jobs.
VISA already tracks all your payments and Google tracks all your movement and because of anti-terrorism law, the US govt has access to all this data..this law was passed by Bush but was to expire in 2023, but Biden has extended this law for an additional 10 years!
This is just like Indias UPI... whats the point of digital currency when all you are doing is scan & pay.. with a digital wallet.. which already exists in India.
Surprising that the US, and to some degree the EU, will be years behind to rollout their digital currencies,it's clearly the way of the near future.

So what exactly is it? Since you have to transfer money you already have into this separate account. Are other mobile payments not accepted?
Digital currency should be avoided at all costs.
India will also soon launch it's CBDC Digital Rupee for Wholesale & Retail use ♥️🔥
