Man I miss Jack! His humor is flawless. Such a smooth individual when it comes to his character, cooking, and just all around being a genuine person. RIP to a Legend. We love you Daddy Jack
Mu dad used to rape me ughh miss him so much wish he would have made meatballs with all kinds of things stuffed in them instead of stuffing whatever into me 😢
This guys is awesome! I’m going through a divorce and when I feel down I watch him cook and I instantly feel better! Ive learned a ton and love his style of cooking. Cook to taste! Need more good dudes like this in the world!
Chaplin's Classics Thank you for the sentiments! I’m from Ohio and when life slows down I’m coming out there to eat at your restaurant! You have a gift for cooking and it shows. Thanks for the response!

I can watch these videos on a full stomach and get hungry greatly appreciated just need to get my kitchen done start trying some of them out thank you sir and all the folks that are supporting
Would like to meet this Guy. He seems like one great down to earth guy. I'll bet he would be a hoot to have a few drinks with or even a pot of coffee. I'm sure as you, he is a super nice guy. Peace.
everything you did from baking off instead of frying, the dry bread with milk and water, frying one off to taste first before cooking off the whole batch..... is how I was taught. I was thinking something would be off....but heck know. This man knows his stuff! pleasure watching
For anyone wondering, I've seen a picture of Jack in a photo from august of 2018, he still has his restaurant. Who knows why he stopped making videos, maybe if someone stops by his place one day ask him.
Love all the videos I've been trying all the recipes. First thing i do after getting off work is watch your channel. Good Luck Guys Happy New Year From Chicago.
Funny move on the 'scrubbing up' before the operation! Another 'Daddy Jack' classic moment and another great recipe. I wish your restaurants weren't so far from Tennessee!
The onions, tarragon, cream, and vinegar are unfamiliar to me but I'm sure they are awesome! I like the idea of wetting the bread. Too bad we couldn't see you cutting into the finished product.
Loving This Sunday Rainy Afternoon/Almost Evening Here In CT......With Some Italian Meatballs, Italian Spaghetti Sauce, Italian Garlic Bread, And Italian Dressing For The Salad!! Yes, Everything Italian Today!! Now If There's An Italian Cocktail, I Don't Know Of It At This Time, LOL..............I'll Do My Research On That One, LOL !! Thanks For The Share!! Enjoy!!
@@stickemuppunkitsthefunlovi4733 unfortunately not, May of 2021 he passed. The "Cooking with the Blues," his other channel, has a video of his daughters talking about it. There are a few articles online about him, too.
It's always good when I come across your videos I missed. I love ground caraway and/or cardamon seeds in my meatballs too . Thanks for perking up my appetite again Jack. P.S. Do you deliver to Washington State?
Wow, didn't see date on this vid. . . 2014-15!? Love the food, love your style (simple & fresh), & love you, Daddy Jack! Was up at 3a one nite & HAD to make "Angel Hair Aglio y Olio". . . all that white pasta put me back to sleep for another 5-6 hrs. (good thing it was my day off). 😉
Golly! Daddy Jack!! I love to watch you make a spread😃!! It must be such a joy to COOK with a dishwasher behind you. What does it say about me that I love to COOK, but I hate to wash dishes?? Hmm 🤔...Conundrum.
Ok.. I happened to be making a big ol' pot of sauce and by chance ran into this recipe. My meatballs have always been sub par as far as I am concerned, so I thought I'd give yours a try. What I was most interested in was the bread/water/milk instead of the bread crumbs I always use. I also eliminated the garlic powder and peppers and had 3 lbs of meat (1 lb ground beef, 2 lbs pork sausage). Here's the verdict.. One word.. Awesome! Extremely moist and delicious. My new recipe for meatballs has been found. I think I'll try the peppers next time, I just didnt have them on hand. Btw.. I absoluty love the way you cook. Easy dishes, gourmet quality.
Thanks jack , would enjoy a video of your kitchen layout and walk in cooler sometime. Also would be nice if you put some of the food growers info in your video description, such as those canned tomatoes you really like. Have a good new year
Michael know's his seafood risotto too. He is one of the most interesting among the Jewish Conservatives. Too bad he is leaving radio by end of December. No one is quite like Michael Savage.
Very nice stuff, though I guess a little of that meat may have escaped into the mise-en-place! Definitely going to test out a lot of this recipe in the near future because it looks great.
No raw onion in meatballs. Just breaks the consistency. Saute them for a minute or two and soften them up. Takes away the harshness and brings out the sweetness, too.
Man I miss Jack! His humor is flawless. Such a smooth individual when it comes to his character, cooking, and just all around being a genuine person. RIP to a Legend. We love you Daddy Jack
I was wondering if he was still with us? He's cooking for the Father now.
He said 2 or 3 tables spoons of garlic powder!!!!!! that shit was like 2 to 3 cups of garlic powder!!!!!! i love this guy
ya , i caught that too
right jesus christ
Did you catch a little bit of paprika??
Haha
Jack is the greatest. He washes his hands AFTER grabbing the garlic, paprika, bread, and cheese.
ckaz007 underrated comment😂
"THATS CROSS CONTAMINATION!!"
This man is a very likeable guy, genuine, not proud, he explains everything in such a way that the novice, like me, can follow the instructions….
This is only the fourth video I watched of this guy and it’s seems like I know him forever....Lolll
My dad used to put everything in meatballs and meatloaf.. It was the best. Miss him dearly.... Love watching this channel!!!

So sorry to hear about your dad. I have a dad, but we have a horrible relationship.
Johnny Dong haha
My dad is a meatloaf maestro. They just seem to have a knack for stuff like that. God bless your dad's soul.
Mu dad used to rape me ughh miss him so much wish he would have made meatballs with all kinds of things stuffed in them instead of stuffing whatever into me 😢
There's nothing better than watching Jack Chaplin make meatballs on a rainy morning in Des Moines. I'm serious. 😊
Except sitting in his restaurant and watching him do it right in front of ya.............
this guy is a real chef .... you can tell YEARS of experience. No fancy pansy stuff here. Hard working Chef !
lol @ fancy pansy stuff. I'd like an example of fancy pansy please.
He's a great cook but a big walking heart attack too, sadly.

Make no mistake, folks: the *_ONLY_* way to mix a batch of meatballs is with your bare hands!
I use Ciabatta bread soaked in beef broth. No milk or water. Never miss an opportunity to add flavor.
thomabb that sounds like a great idea. Thank u i will definitely try this next time.

I have a lot of respect for this guy, he kind of reminds me of Paul Prudhomme in the way he talks and cooks.
My mother always pan fries her meatballs , gives them that nice outer crust. I enjoy them straight out of the pan before they go in the sauce
Artie Bucco's brother helping in the kitchen? Seriously though, Love your videos, man.
How good it feels to see you. I hope you are always healthy.
