I mean, Heisei Mechagodzilla had just finished a fight with Showa Mechagodzilla, so Kiryu was probably lowkilling, which makes third partying/teaming justified, even though it’s highly unrealistic that Showa Mechagodzilla should’ve attacked Kiryu instead of Heisei Mechagodzilla, considering how much Showa Kaiju tend to revenge kill. Still, it is justified to a point.

I love how Heisei seems to take a second to think after getting hit and then just responds with a prism beam. It's so funny, I love it. Kiryu getting possessed was a great touch.

This is pretty accurate because kiryus material isn’t made for radiation absorption his is just normal metal or smh and heiseis is dimond coding + radiation absorption
