Man seeing Robin Williams smile in his sons face for that brief second hit me hard man. It takes a strong person to carry such a giant mans legacy. His smile made the sun jealous! You guys are amazing.
Another person who was one of my favorites was John Ritter (Three's Company). When I saw his son (he's an actor too), it hit me hard since they look so much alike too & the smile. Robin Williams was tremendously gifted and yet, I saw sadness/gentleness in his eyes. I think he had to make others laugh to deal with his pain as a way of coping/sustaining by giving back so if he wasn't happy he at least wanted others to be. Eddie Murphy once said that its like that for a lot of comics. The laughter comes from their pain. Richard Pryor had a very painful childhood & many painful years, but could have you on the floor laughing with his comedic genius.

as someone who had a hard life struggling from being bullied, being smacked down dozens of times by his own parent, being struggling from various problems and nonetheless being autistic, I grew up with nothing but very few friends. Instead, I grew up with movies, tv series, and I met some extraordinary people along that road, like a smiling and smirking Peter Pan-Doubtfire, but also a young fresh highness from Philly, born and raised.
And let me tell you something more, Will:
I'm honest with you when I tell you I watched and love every. single. movie. of. yours. Period. There is no other actor I admire that much, no other actor I literally can say about that I love every single movie or at least know every single movie.
And you know what, Will?
You helped me a lot. You gave me strength, you gave me hope, you gave me joy, even in such dark times, that no one could have stopped me from jumping out of a window.
