I think the Tank top Tiger and Black Hole scene would have fit better. They were really cocky and underhanded in their tactics.

Yet they still decided to try and raid this dungeon assuming inner richer are greater than outer.
The 5 Kage thinking they actually stood a chance against Madara Uchiha is an example of people messing with the wrong character. The sheer amount of *black airforce activity* and sass steaming from Madara was enough to swat them like flys.

I get your point but not really, The scene of course is bad ass and iconic... but that was a war.. not really an example of messing with the wrong person.... Im my opinion anyways
what choice did they have? let madara waltz around slaughtering everyone else? thats a case of more like a no-choice last stand, rather than any arrogance on the kages part

They actually managed to inflict damage on him, and not only that, you can't really count that as a "one-sided beatdown" because it was just a small battle in a larger war, and Madara got his ass whooped by Might Guy, an edgy Uchiha and an obnoxiously cheery Uzumaki before getting LITERALLY stabbed in the back by something he thought he created and admitting to Hashirama Senju that he was wrong, all in that same war.

I'd personally place DIO on the list for taunting and putting down Jotaro (especially after nearly ending his grandfather, Joseph Joestar) since it ended with the latter splitting imploding the former's head into a bloody mess. After all when it comes to Jotaro one thing you should NEVER do is piss him off.
Ain't that the truth. Plus, I believe that Jotaro was number one on the list of anime characters one should _NEVER_ piss off.

Well.. The one thing came to my mind after I read the title was from Tensura, the moment of King Edmaris of Falmuth Kingdom decided to attack Tempest.. Not only he lost his left arm, his body butchered into somekind of meatloaf while still being alive, he lost his entire army of 20 thousands people... Then lost his throne, his kingdom's treasures.. And in the end his kingdom fall into a 'doll-kingdom' under Tempest, renamed from Falmuth into Farmenas.. What greater lost than this imbicle King had just because he messed with the wrong Slime named Rimuru?

I mean The Farnreas Kingdom attacks his town and kills many of his followers and freinds .That finally pushes him to go full demon lord by killing freaking 20000 soldiers of the attacking army. Then proceeds to humiliate and/or kill everyone who had a part n planning the attack
