That’s gotta be the best speech I’ve ever heard. Find yourself a friend like John. Better yet, be a person like Norman. This was so cool to watch and listen to. Respect.
Holy crap. I always knew that both of these men are examples of authentic, blazing talent. What I didn't know was that Jon Bernthal is a such a gifted writer and orator. That speech might as well have been called "Ode to a Reedus," and it could have been written by Pablo Neruda. Jon, if you're reading this, please know that I've got nothing but respect for you, bro. The depth of your honesty and generosity continues to leave me floored. Thank you for highlighting Norman's talents as only *you* could.
Man, watching this, I wish Lincoln, Reedus and Bernthal could have made it through the entire TWD series, from first season to last, the original "three musketeers"
I live in Savannah. I happened upon Norman one night at one one of our original dive bars Pinkie Masters. He was standing outside and I approached him and told him how I was a fan of TWD but had followed his career and had been a fan of his for many yrs. He was receptive and kind and treated me like a friend He’s one in a million. I’ve met many celebrities but he’s one of only a few that was gracious and appreciative.
Met him once at Paleyfest, he is exactly what everyone says about him. You can tell he is super appreciative but confident in who he is. He does not act like he is better than you, even though he is.
Norman deserved this so much. Its a big fact that he playing one of the best TV show character ever. His acting is amazing good! And its so good to hear what people think about him who worked with him and other people too and how much they love him. Just like us fans love him veeery much! I mean comeon he is such a cool guy in the show and in the real life too. Its a big day and a big happy moment for him and his family and friends and fans too. Jon too would deserve this i think he too is a rly good actor and nice and kind guy and badass. He played very good Shane too in TWD but i love him more as the Punisher! He is such a cool and great Punisher and his other roles are good too.
I think Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Lauren Cohan, Melissa Mcbride, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and Jeffery Dean Morgan all deserve a star on this walk of fame
Strange that Norman gets his hands on Hollywood bD. as an actor, we don't know him. He gets that by being himself more than anything. I'd love to see Tom Cruise's prints trashed on a regular basis for who he is...
Jon is such a great dude and amazing actor. Really hope he gets a star. Man, I remember first seeing Norman in Blade 2. Feels like yesterday. Congrats to Norman.
Wow. Imagine hearing someone giving that speech about you..!! And realising that you’re the type of human being that inspires people to describe you as such, you make people feel this way and touch their hearts as such. Damm you’d be proud of yourself and know you’ve been a success in the world. Norman Reedus has always seemed to me to be a good man and this speech just confirms everything I’ve thought he’d be. The only ‘celebrity’ I want to meet. I’d love to sit and have a few beers at a bar with him, just chatting about life you know? Top guy 100%
Man i love the cast’s friendships and bonds with each other, norman definitely deserves this considering hes one of the most popular characters without being in the comics
The fact that Norman's character Dale isn't even in the comics, and he's probably one of the best, most loved characters to be written in the Universe tells enough of how impactful Norman Reedus really is.
One time at Toronto comicon I was leaving I passed a long line and seen it was a meet and great for him 😍 as I passed I yelled I love youuu !! He took his time to stand up and look at me shouting back he loved me 🫠🥲🥰 what a Gem 💎
Damn I loved Jon in the show, even though he was “bad”…but some reason couldn’t hate him, Norman seems like he’s Darryl in real life, sweet hearted but also no BS…I’m happy to hear it ❤. Great speech Jon, what a beautiful and well spoken tribute 🫶🏻
If you can have even one person in the world speak about you in such a way(and mean it)then you've done something right with the life God has given you.
It's always really cool when you love these guys as actors and then find out what great, humble, down to earth guys they are in real life when some many celebrities are the complete opposite of that, thanks Jon and Norman you guys are awesome 👍
Jon really nailed it. That is exactly how I envision Norman to be. Loved what Sarah and Andy said as well. Norman deserved this 100% -always loved him. Can't believe it took a zombie show for people to see how awesome he is. Only Norman Reedus could make me watch a zombie show.
Coming from Jon Bernthal, one of the most talented B-lister but also a good man, it means a lot. Out with the wonderpricks. Acting is about bringing the best in a team, not egos. Their joy at bringing people pleasure is infectious

I was wondering why has Norman aged so much cus he looked so young and fine during season 1-3 of walking dead and after looking his wikipedia the guy is literally gonna hit 60 in 6 years lmao
What a great speech! Wow, really. No joke, no bs. Just a great speech from an amazing person to another amazing person. Oscar presenters take notes. Jon Bernthal, mean really beautiful.
Rumor has it Norman wasn't even in the cast, he just walked on set outta the woods and started killing the zombies. True story.
Lmao😂
Lol good one... lol
Makes sense, he wasn’t even ein the comics xD
True story actually, he accidentally walked on the set and the camera crew and cast just went with it
