- Welcome to AutoMotoTube!!! On our channel we upload every day , short, (2-5min) walkaround videos of Cars and Motorcycles. The best paint scheme of every new model VMax. The blacked out everything suits this bike perfectly. I want one... NOW! (It just needs a bigger fuel tank to make it perfect).

They're called star bikes in america. Other countries don't have star so they get the yamaha logo.

I had the old school bike (2005)..it got 42 mpg (160issh per tank) it was 1299cc. The new Vmax is a 1700cc , I heard it might get 24 mpg...do the math. There are a few places In Texas that don't have that distance between gas stations! And the 5speed tranny was geared way to high, making the rpm uncomfortable for hwy cruising. Why wouldn't the engineers at Yamaha correct the bikes two shortcomings, especially if they went to the trouble to bill such a beautiful machine!!!!!

is like ducati diavel. lol
With the Diavel Ducati tried to bring something like the Vmax.
Though the Diavel is a nice bike, they failed.
Diavel is much more into speed and high revs.
The Vmax (even Gen1 from 1985) is about torque at any given rpm.
1500 up to limiter always above 100Nm. You cruise relaxed through town or on twisty roads, on the highway...
And once in a while you just enjoy the force and the brilliant accelleration without even shifting down.
The Diavel is much more on the "sporty" side, for sure also lots of fun, but not my style of riding.
Vmax doesn't have to proof anything, all the others try to compete with this or that.
Vmax is Vmax.
