This was so much fun! I haven’t used my acrylics for ages ; putting my watercolour paints away for a few days and will be trying some more of your lovely acrylic tutorials.
Well Karen, this is a stunning piece. I love the use of materials/techniques to spectacular effect. Just as an aside, I employ your “stay wet palette”. I live in Spain and the paint stays wet for about 8 hours. It is used without retarder, out of direct sunlight, although the ambient temperatures in the past month are in the late twenties and just over the thirties. Works fantastic for me! Once again thank you for your tutorial and skills. Thank you so much.
So pleased you find the stay wet palette useful! Do you know if you keep it in the fridge, the paints stay wet for a very long while. I am not sure everyone wants a palette in their fridge though 😂 So pleased you are finding the tutorials helpful! Thank you!😊
This is absolutely amazing 🤩. Can’t wait to try it! Your creativity knows no bounds and is so inspiring 👏. Really hope you do more “plastic bagging” - I’m heading out to the bins before they are emptied this morning 🏃♀️😁
Thank you Chris! It was all quite by accident. I was looking to do this with cling film or the old scourer and saw the plastic and thought... I will give that a go! I was so pleased with the results and will definitely be doing more! Thank you 😊
Have you painted on wood using the techniques of applications. Any thoughts on process or things to watch for? Thinking of putting acrylics on woodturnings, platters and bowls and wall hanging Take care Cheers Harold

Hi Harold, I have painted on primed wooden panels, which is lovely! 😀
The only veedio i have seen with the original painting near the demonstrating one
Thank you so much for your kind comment :-)
I can't download and would love to have a list ofcolours used. Thanks.
… have you tried using scrunched up foil into a ball?!! You can also shape it … 😮😁👏
I haven’t tried a silver foil scrunched up but I have seen other artists use it so may give it a go… thank you! 😄
