It’s been about two years since I have done an acrylic painting, I have been concentrating on watercolour. I had a go at this one really enjoyed it. 🙂

That is so pretty 😍 I have only yried acrylics once, the paint was drying so quickly it really put me off. But I would love to try this. How much retarder do you need to use please Karen? 😊

How different are these high flow acrylics to Liquitex acrylic inks are they similar because I do have Liquitex acrylic jeans, and I don’t want to buy too many things ?😅

I love this! Have you ever done anything with inks and a medium and mixed in crushed shells/sand for texture? I have seen work like this but have no real idea how to do it!

Thank you Karen. This is only my second ever painting (at 41years old) and I wanted to mark the anniversary of our still born daughter , Stella Poppy, for my wife. This tutorial was so helpful in creating my version. My poppies need practice as they are a bit blobby but I think not bad and hopefully she will like it. Wish I could attach a picture to show you.
