I actually enjoyed the noise and the people in the video. It makes me feel like I'm there. Like all a sudden, while I was having a coffee, this guys started talking and I just joined in.
Wow this is one of the top crossovers I’ve been waiting for. I would listen to a 3 hour version too. And I’d love to read the article about „Premium Mediocre“
@@bheinatz1 I posted a comment with the link, but it was taken down. The original appears to be a rather long piece by Venkatesh Rao called "The Premium Mediocre Life of Maya Millennial." The Atlantic has a piece on it too that you can find by searching for the term.
Great collaboration, I've been following you both for a while and really enjoyed this candid and laid-back conversation. I wish it was a bit easier to find quality brands. I live in Manchester UK and have had a very hard time finding the kind of classical clothing I'm drawn to. The search engines have a difficult time surfacing them due to being suffocated by the marketing budgets of high street brands and outside of London there is a scarcity of brick-and-mortar stores in this space.
It’s interesting to hear the views on people peacocking to get their photos taken & then doing it themselves. And recalling the kids that would show up to get their photos taken in Men’s Club. For anyone that went to the description to find the article - I believe it’s the one in The Atlantic “It’s All So … Premiocre”

Hi Mark and Simon, thanks for the lovely video. Would it be possible to tell us what both of you are wearing in this video? It'd be greatly appreciated!
Mark doesn't want to open a shop for now, especially when they opened a new shop recently. The rents in London are just outrageous, which doesn't help.

So good! This needs a mr. Slowboy portrait.
Wonderful conversation between two of the most relevant voices in luxury menswear. You compliment each another so well. Nicely done.

I put some links to articles on the topic in another comment
@@gentlemenscholarsclubI'm not finding that comment with the links. Can you post it here?

Yeah, I'd love to know where Simons shirt is from
I would love to see a chat with the Bryceland’s guys!
Love the background!
Actually the OEM, since birth of D2C has changed their contracts with big brands....OEM are now allowed to sell their own
Simon says “kind of”, “you know”, and “um” a hell of a lot.
We suffer from a kind of Hugh Grantism as Brits, but at least something telling and insightful usually follows.
Nice video ( especially after the background noise settles down a bit ) any plans to open/ have an online shop in the uk?

It’s understandable , it would be more online that I would prefer anyway
