I can't believe how this attorney can badger this guy about supporting his kids, then say how the mother has no job. What is the mother doing to support her kids?
Some people are the way they are because they've just never caught a good old fashioned ass whoopin'. This attorney is prime specimen.
The way this Attorney speaks to the other Attorney shows the kind of petty little person he is.
This guy may not be father of the year but this attorney running the depo is a straight up jerk. I would have walked out a long time ago. I can’t believe a judge watching this would condone this type of behavior.
You are correct. The deposing attorney is WAY over the line over and over again. Mineo's lawyer should be objecting MUCH more than he does to that punk's behavior. He is off the charts of obnoxious and unprofessional, and any judge would rail his ass if this was properly handled.
So does this attorney think his nasty, hostile behavior makes him look clever…smart or intelligent doesn’t describe any of his behavior…clever he thinks? Nah, just nasty and hateful. Ugh.

Abusive deposition lawyer acts like some rookie SVU detective wannabe, hope this father went for a court order to have a Judge watch every minute, then kick him out of the legal profession.

I have a question. What is this deposition for? Is it a family matter for payments and custody rights etc? Are these public in America?
I am of the opinion that a client and their attorney are usually very similar in character. She must be a real piece of work because this guy is the most incompetent fool lawyer I have seen. I’ve worked for several attorneys so I’ve seen some amazing men and women and then some smug, insecure, sarcastic and fools like this. I can picture him staying up nights trying to think of these childish ways to catch someone in a mistake, trying to belittle them or ways to play (?) stupid asking unnecessary questions. He needs to work on his little sing-song voice. It makes him look like a double digit. We wouldn’t want that.
It doesn't sound like you have ever participated in a deposition. It allows lawyers to explore many different things with little objection. You are saying the lawyer explored too many topics in a deposition.

According to what? He’s an abusive prick badgering everyone around him. Let me assure you that attitude would be shut down in a New York minute an open court, and it would not ever sit well with a judge or jury.
I would LITERALLY FIRE MY SO CALLED LAWYER. I have never been a deposition like this for a lawyer does not take up for his clients.
Is the attorney acting like a smug ass? Yes.. Should he be nice to an opposing party? Absolutely not. Is he wrong to be an ass? Nope. He's being paid good money to vigorously represent his client, the palintiff. This is exactly how he should be. Depositions are consucted by attorneys at their office. This is normally how they go. Theres a lot of leeway and less decorum. Its all recorded and documented and if any real misconduct is conducted, its for a judge to decide later in court.
I was told you work as you follow your dreams .. not be 'poor' at the expense of your children.. it's not their dreams.. You work 2 jobs or 3 and pay support.. like the rest of us! Aka Grow up it's not about you anymore!!

14:02 the deposing attorney says Mineo is making no sense confirming my thoughts about his ability to understand. I thought he was just being obtuse to trip Mineo up in word salads. The more I hear, the more credit I give Mineo for his answers. He seems to have a pretty good idea of what it is to be a good parent in this situation. One I'm glad I'll never be in. These things are nasty!

When anyone owns their own business, non profit or not, they work hundreds of unpaid hours with the goal and yes, hope, of building success and eventually make money! Otherwise no one would ever be able to start a business if also divorced and paying child support!
Bryan never worked unpaid. He was always taking an exorbitant salary.

Like him or not, the lawyer is pulling out information that is very relevant to his clients case and that is his job. You should never go into a deposition thinking the opposition is going to "be nice" to you.
This is why people fear depositions. They're long, the lawyers have great leeway, and it's at all times confrontational.

@@mvolpe998I have. I’ve been an Oklahoma family law attorney for 25 years. I would have not only objected, I would have suspended the deposition and sought sanctions and attorney fees. I despise the way our profession behaves these days. Lawyers do not have to seek to humiliate and embarrass witnesses in order to zealously represent their clients. Not talented lawyers, anyway. Take care.

This Man wants to be a part of his children's life, why is this attorney working so hard to sabotage the inalienable rights of this man, to his and her biological creation, given by Almighty God in Heaven. Sad that the mother is pushing it. I’ve been erased from my granddaughter life and my son doesn’t seem to care. People are a disappointment.

The most outrageous thing he did, among 9 million of them, was imply that this father "digitally penetrated" his daughter. This attorney is a sick man. The best question in the whole deposition was when Mineo asked him how he sleeps at night.
this is a about child support payments.. or lack thereof.. so lawyer's gotta dig .. and show dad's character .. or lack thereof .. a bully lawyer so what!?! No spousal now but shore up buddy child support payments ain't goin way!!

I agree. There are a lot of people expecting a lawyer to be nice to the opposing party in a deposition. Do not expect that if you are ever deposed.

I can name so many things that his lawyer is tolerating. If his ex wife thinks this crap gis cute then she is terribly wrong. This lawyer thinks he's been cute but he's really making an ass out of himself.

@vickicali I wrote several stories about his non profit, where he was taking an exorbitant salary. He ended up quitting and the new head isn't taking a salary.

What a ridiculous thing to say that someone is right to behave so stupidly and in such a disgusting way toward someone because the person is an ALLEGED child molester, particularly when HE is the one accusing the person of being a child molester... with essentially zero evidence for child molestation. Apparently, you are unaware that accusing someone of being a child molester during divorces/custody battles is one of the oldest, slimiest, most reprehensible tactics in the book. Think about the reasoning you are using to justify it. If someone accuses YOU of being a child molester, would that make that person justified in being a total asshole to you?

4. You don't know anything about the case that anyone else can't glean from this deposition. Whatever happened to you in your life is not relevant to this case, and Bryan Mineo is not responsible for your suffering. If he is lying about anything, it does NOT justify the over the top behavior from the deposing attorney. Again, try to imagine someone just asserting allegations against you... You are a child molester. You dealt narcotics to children. You put children on the street to turn tricks for you as their pimp. Anyone can just make shit up and accuse you of anything. And this guy's actions in this video aren't limited to the child molestation line, but it is the most egregious and creepiest example of his outrageousness. He went on 4 vacations and multiple trips and stays at expensive hotels but threw 2 crib mattresses on the floor for his kids.
He goes down a slide holding 2 toddlers and a phone recording it and breaks his daughter’s leg and doesn’t even take her to a medical facility…
He says he can’t bottle feed his son because “she won’t provide bottles”. It’s his job to provide clean, sanitary bottles, buy formula, or breastmilk and feed his son.
