A video with footage from the Transfăgărășan road in Romania featuring bears we encountered on the side of the road while driving.
We respect nature and animals and so we avoided interacting in any way with the bears or other animals we filmed during our trips. All footage was filmed from a safe distance from inside a car and without feeding or otherwise interacting with the animals.
We advise and encourage all tourists, Romanian or foreign, that visit Transfăgărășan and have the privilege of encountering these beautiful animals, to not feed, pet or interact with them in any way that may bring harm to their person. Keep in mind that even if they might look gentle and friendly, these are wild animals and may react in unpredictable ways.
If you visit Romania or any other place where you can encounter wild animals in an uncontrolled environment like this, please take precautionary measures and avoid any situation that may bring danger to you, to other people, or to the animals themselves.
