A few painful Scottish entries! I remember that Pete Horne Glasgow miss too, he actually had a good game at 10 and scored a great individual try ghosting through the Ulster defence. He does sometimes have a bad day with the boot, but otherwise always very dependable for Glasgow.
can't remember the final score, but Glasgow scored 4 tries that day, but no kicks. Apparently Pete binned the boots after the game!

We've been spoiled with great kickers, and yet there are two whoppers in here by Hastings and Patterson.
@@gordon1545 pretty much every single victory between 2007 and 2012 were try-less matches won by either Phil "is he really our best ten" Godman, Chris "old reliable" Paterson, or Dan "multiple of three" Parks.

@@mema0005 Finn's not a great kicker, but Laidlaw was under-rated. The more pressure on a kick, the more likely he was to make it.

I thought maybe the Matthew Watkins one was a tad unfair given it was a charge down. That leads me into a thought, what about a video on charge downs which had a significant bearing on a game?

The biggar drop kick against the springboks isn’t really a kick gone wrong as most of the time when drop kicking of the ball hasn’t dropped the correct way or the ground was uneven it can damage the kick a big way

He's been shite for a while but the coaches want to keep him going. Gonna lead to some seriously inexperienced kickers when he retires.
Bruh Moment. Eaten bread is soon forgotten. How many times have you been named World Rugby Player of the Year? Is he not entitled to a drop in form after what he has given for club and country for over a decade?. I wouldn't count him down and out just yet - not based on one poor campaign.

The BBC used to wax lyrical about Chris Paterson and how he’d scored something like 36 consecutive kicks from the tee.
But if you look at where he’d kicked them from, they were generally right in front of the posts. Anything more challenging than that and he’d leave them for Dan Parks or Phil Godman.
