The level of drill has really decreased. Take a look at videos from he 80's and 90's where the drill is much sharper. Too bad they eliminated the old present arms and halt in favour of the CF drill standard.
As an Englishman with two sons serving in His Majesty’s Coldstream Guards l feel that our Canadian cousins need some serious training on their drill , it looked sloppy and what was that mess wearing a red beret 🙄 dear o dear
As if, the worst Drill in his majesty's forces are that off the British Army loose, sloppy, bouncing their feet instead of a solid single drop and stay, the lack lustre swinging of arms and flailing about? In the CF if you don't bring your arms and thighs to exact parallel when marching you are toast. I see the Guards in the UK constantly flailing about and not in step and you dare talk rubbish about the greatest Army and drill in the world? Nice try bud shuffle on

god their bearskins are shocking and the tunics are to long. I have no doubt that these men are highly trained soldiers and respect them greatly, but I think copying elite British guards is a bit far fetched. someone needs to give them there own unique uniform.
They're mostly college kids in the reserve Guards Regts, and if you bothered to read their histories they have more than a right to carry on the nation's heritage.
