Trail stove/Optimus 99 knock off

Picked up a cool little Stansport trail stove that is the knockoff of the Optimus 99.
After the first burn I'm really liking this little stove.
It boiled a cup and a half of cold water in five and a half minutes.

Thanks Chris. The pot was covered with suit from the unleaded fuel and the factory didn't spend much time polishing the burner but you should see it now. It really cleaned up well.
I couldn't get the burner off for fear of breaking it but I buffed it the best I could. I should have done a video on that part. It turned out really well.

Hi Rob, nice demo, I have one of these Optimus 99 stoves, but I prefer to use my 8R stove, at the end of the day, it is the same as the 8R but in a aluminium box. Over this side of the pond you could get about £80 to£85 for one, but they are very few and far between.

Definitely not as rugged as the 8r but I think it would have been a little better for backpacking because it would weigh a little less.

The tornadoes were really bad across western and some of central ky but I was very fortunate for it not to hit my community.
Please pray for all the lives lost and there families.
This is the worst natural disaster we have had in these parts.

Honestly, I don't have a clue, but I'm guessing it's also made in Taiwan.
I haven't had this one out of the cabinet in a while.
