- Upcoming guidelines on flexible work arrangements will set norms for employees to request for flexibility. It will also encourage employers to grant these appeals based on business needs. CNA spoke to Yeo Wan Ling, NTUC Assistant Secretary-General and Director of U SME and U Women & Family, and Dr Brandon Koh, Lecturer for the Human Resource Management Programme at SUSS.
We need wfh, this reducing congestions in early morning traffics and families have more time together
It’ll only work in companies with family friendly cultures and unfortunately, there are a severe shortage of such companies in Singapore. I bet my last dollar that the birth rate will continue falling.
Wow! What a remarkable PAP in making a sustainable employment in s'pore possible. Remarkable PAP!❤❤
Wait.. expect less from caregivers at work?? I disagree that this is even a consideration, look at outcomes over "being there"
Stop kidding, working from home in service sectors actually lower productivity and increase costs. Decide on 3 days, 4 days or 5 days work week, when staff clock into Office, they collect wages only when they come to work. No wages on their chosen off-days.

You are lucky that someone gives you a job. Do not conduct your life as if others own you a living, demanding for this and that. If you are not happy, start your own company. The basic motive of any company is profit. They are not here to provide us with jobs. If the profit is not up do what they want, they will move out to else where where there it is more profitable. Be more realistic, that's life. Stop doing stupid things.
