Kevin James and Melvin Lindsey (R.I.P) made sure this track remain in the "Quite Storm" rotation. True Classic. Have it on vinyl. Haven't been able to find it on CD.
I remember singing this song when I was a teenager and I had broken up with my boyfriend. Kevin James (WHUR 96.3) played this every Sunday on the Quiet Storm. I LOVE the 80's!!!! I had the pleasure of meeting Tracy Hamlin a few years back at Blues Alley and shared my story with her. We laughed!!!!!
Melvin linsey played this song and when it was going off I said to myself I wish I could hear that agin and it was like he read my mind because he played it right back again!!! WHUR R.I.P. Melvin
Om gosh I love this song so hard to find. Original and her voice is so nice and the lyrics were so on time...back in the day. Thanks for posting. And yes the CD is like impossible to find.
I am so glad to hear this song again. Brings back soo many fine memories from the 80's... I remember Kevin Slow Jammin James playing it on WHUR when I lived in Silver Spring and Gaithersburg, MD. Mmm! I have the album from back then but it's a bit scratched. Does anyone know how I can find and download this song to my Android?
Man, this is the nice, no, ultra-nice smooth sounds that WHUR 96.3 used to play. Now all they seem to play are those auto-rotated songs by people straining to hit a note. Urban Lee Project..... Living Without Your Love - was the jam !
Danm brought the CD. Three times (Don't ask) lol. Looks like it'll be four, love it from "Start to Finish"... Now this is "Real Night Time or that Um, Um, Umm Time Music", What an Era!!!
Tracey Hamlin from my city, I remember you from riesterstown ave. I was bout 14 yrs old and supposedly in Love. And I would play this on my lil. Eight track everynight. Ahhh a true throwback 🤣
Gonzomoe8 My ex just sent this to me. I was real good to him. Maybe to good. He was my King and that's how I treated him. Guess you're not supposed to treat a man that way nowadays. Everytime I look in the mirror, I swear I can hear Mr. T say, "I pity the fool." Guess who the fool is.
All my Washingtonians in here!!! 💖💖💖
