Yeah, I'm pretty sure hits landed on the catcher while it's behind you end up stacking speed to an insane extent, since the catcher is already rubberbanding due to you pulling ahead of it - I've had the catcher go completely nuts from just three orbinauts tossed behind me, and one instance where the catcher somehow managed to juggle me through the air, each time stacking rubberbanding speed until it just took off and left me way far behind. I avoid going for hits while in front where possible, and that usually keeps the catcher in check enough to stay reasonable.
ufo catcher took 2 hits and simply used 600% lmao im most surprised he didnt instantly die since if i remember ufo catcher takes hit kill from that thing
Garden Top has to have _some_ kind of downside in Special, I'm ngl. Otherwise Towers would be piss easy since you can break the UFO Catcher in 10 seconds flat if you're lucky.
The top 9/10 can break the catcher in one go at full health. I'm pretty sure the downside is to just not throw it while the catcher is still behind you.
the first super emerald has the same issue. If you shot 3 times instead 2, the ufo will be run more faster than my father. So, the strat is shot 2 times, then use 1 shot to the bridge, then another 2 shots EVEN if you can shot 3 times, 1 for the turbopads, and 3 before the great jump. The UFO has 20HP, each ball deals 2 damage, so 7 shots are 14HP, the SPB deals 6 damage, so the level should be easy with that knowledge.
