A look at my new Max for Live device. Gradient is a preset interpolator that introduces a new way to think about design device presets. Using very little input, enjoy a near endless expansion of the presets for every device in your library.
This is my first proper TH-cam video of this kind so your feedback is very welcome!

Sometimes your best idea is just between two you’ve already had. Gradient is like a color picker for device presets in Ableton Live, aiding in your search for magnificent purples between the reds and blues in your existing library. Put in slightly less metaphoric terms, Gradient allows you to discover and design presets for your favorite Live devices, instruments, and VSTs in a new way that’s fun and intuitive.

This is the identical concept I wrote about in the forums and to Propellerhead many years ago. I'm glad it came into being. I am happy to buy it because it is the perfect solution for my needs.

It would be great if you could adjust the range and curve for each parameter.
Also consider if you could save 128 patches in the banks and interpolate between as many presets as you have saved. Instead of the xy, imagine if for each new preset added a new slider appeared for that new presets axis.
Also consider adding presets for saving collections of parameters and perhaps even drag/shift/ctrl selecting portions of an instruments parameters like oscillators/ADSR/Filter section etc to be controlled/effected/randomized/range/curve/mutate by specific collection of parameters/percent mutate/saving mutations individually in a buffer to go back to quickly by selecting through them with a parameter knob.
It would also be great if it could control multiple instruments from the same m4l device perhaps any device that is selected on that channel or a device from a different channel, and if you could assign hardware like a 21 axis VR glove to the m4l device that would immediately reassign to another "Gradient 2.0" m4l device on another channel when switching to that channel.
There's so much that can be done here, this isn't even scratching the surface considering if this was further optimized for rapidly/creatively automating MPE capable instruments.
