How can I blame you when it's me I can't forgive. The first time I heard it it gave me a lot of clarity in my own life. As most people do we blame situations and people for our own discretions. It was an awakening for me. I blamed one person for what I lost as a young boy. I was afraid to get close to anyone because I felt I was going to loose them as well. When I realized that I needed to forgive myself and not blame people or situations for the path I made. We all have gone through things that put is a different place or state of mind. Forgive yourself that is the only way to start the healing process.
I was bullied pretty hard by my older sibling as far back as I remember in childhood. All I remember wanting was to be friends and have a good relationship,. Well that never happened. It took me most my life to realize it wasn't me that wasn't good enough 😉🤘🏼

I love all three _Unforgivens,_ but I strongly identify as the one James dubs "The Unforgiven" in the first song. _The Unforgiven I_ will forever be my favorite Metallica song.
