This is a wrong perception to claim that people from South East Asia integrate into Australian society. Philippines is a very different country to other South East Asian countries. Philippines was the cheap brothel for old western men & previously for US soldiers based in the bases. There’s a cultural divide between Asian countries & western societies. Most of the second generation integrate very well to the western society. Other problem with Sri Lanka is most people cannot fluently communicate in English compared to even to Indians. Philippines is not good example to follow.
