That's because it wasn't. There was widespread political violence and disinformation, a society that didn't understand or believe in democracy and an administration incapable of meeting the needs of the public. It was chaotic and quickly fell apart.
@@FRANZ2gz No. When Hitler got into power he ended all democracy and political violence (other than his own), and got the government and then society functioning. His regime was the opposite of chaos. This happened, not because he was a skilful bureaucrat, but because Germans at that time, and to a degree today, did not respond to a democratic form of government and needed a strong leader to tell them what to do. In order for democracy to function you need a society that understands the principles of democracy and is capable of applying them. And it needs a society that doesn't require strong leadership, but instead can lead the politicians.
