ultrawings 2 helicopter autorotate and normal landings

this is me taking off, performing a shaky but successful autorotate landing, taking off again and a normal landing. I'm not a real pilot, I've had no training in any fashion, except a quick TH-cam explanation video of how to autorotate I skimmed.

Immediately on engine failure drop the collective, then raise it a bit to try and keep the rotor rpm in the green zone all the way down. Your flare was good at the end, as you reach 0kts ground speed and start to drop this is where your raise collective to soften the landing.

That was pretty cool! Have the game just a couple of weeks so don’t have the helicopter yet. I do autorotations with my rc heli’s so would like to know if it works the same way in the game 😃

Thanks! I tried to fly a large rc heli with wood blades once, but as it spun up all I could picture is how bad it would be if it flew into me, so I turned it off lol but I love rc airplanes, and flying in vr is awesome!

@@eyewuzhear2 takes a lot of practice but it’s a very cool hobby. Been doing it for 13 years now. At the end of this vid: th-cam.com/video/LrcrVMowqZA/w-d-xo.html I do an autorotation. Scary in real life but practiced a lot on a simulator.
