This week we take a look at some new FILIPINO ARTISTS that we hadn't seen before, starting with Billy Crawford singing "Future", Reese Lansangan and her song "HOME" which was a sweet and tender and very endearing listening experience, we were then even more blown away by Zack Tabudlo and his live performance of “Nangangamba” on wish, his whole performance was absolutely incredible! We were then introduced to Rico Blanco singing live with IV OF SPADES performing "TAKE THAT MAN". Munimuni, Clara Benin performed "Solomon" and they changed the whole concept of magic in 5 minutes! They truly sent me to another dimension. AEGIS - Halik took us back in time with some incredible rock performances and to finish it off we watched Cueshé perform “Stay” live and it was crazy good. Such an amazing experience and I'd love to find out more!✨

Billy Crawford was actually big in Belgium, Germany and mostly in France but basically around that area of Europe in early 2000s. Having a few hits and winning prestigious French music awards. He also sang the Pokémon Theme in the very first Pokémon movie. At 14 yrs old he was a backup dancer to Michael Jackson for MTV VMA 1995 performance of Dangerous.

Rico Blanco took the lead vocals cudgels when Bamboo unceremoniously left the band, and he wrote almost all, if not all of the band's biggest hit songs. Both guys have left the band and lead solo careers for years now.

Munimuni is so natural when it comes to telling a story through their pieces. It'd be more 100 times magical when you get deeper to what the song means. Such poetry and art and music combined. 💯

Cueshe is an underrated band back in early 2000s. However, they are really on par with Hale, Spongecola, etc. (too many to mention). The original version of Stay is also quite interesting. Go check it out. The voice of Ruben didn't actually change somehow.

Reese Lansangan can also do covers of Anime songs. Just last February 20 this year, there's an event called Nihongo Online Fiesta 2021 that aims to foster and strengthen the friendship between Japan and the Philippines. And in that event, Reese Lansangan covered an Anime theme song. She appeared as special guest. And SHE WAS SO GOOD!! After that online event, I tried to search her Japanese cover of that song. Unfortunately, it was not found. I guess it was a private property. But, watching that cover made me realize how great Reese Lansangan was. She's a great singer!

I grew up listening/hearing Aegis songs everywhere. And I know almost all of their songs by heart. They are truly loved band in the Philippines. Their voice and even their range never changed up to this day. Love them soooo much. 😘😘😘

Some of the artists you featured are really new, but Billy is quite the veteran. Billy Joe Crawford has been in the showbiz industry for as long as Aiza Seguerra has (you reacted to her recently). He started as a child movie/TV actor (at 5, I think). He was the youngest member/talent/host (the other kids were aged 12 and above) of an afternoon entertainment show where he began honing his talents in singing and dancing. He lived in the US in his teens and started recording songs. He was forced to drop the "Joe" as a singer because the name sounded like a country music singer's. He was a teen singing teeny-boppy songs. He didn't make it then until he was in the UK. His style changed since, well, he matured. He became famous for a time and won awards. Then he decided to go back here. Unfortunately, he focused more on hosting and acting. He did well but set aside his singing career....Oh, and another trivia: He was in the straight-to-video film THE EXORCIST. (One of the newer remakes). Rico Blanco was Bamboo''s songwriter bandmate in River Maya. When Bamboo left, Rico had to take his place as frontman for quite a while...Cueshe kind of made the tempo faster...Like Regine, many little kids who start singing start with Aegis songs, mainly HALIK and BASANG-BASA SA ULAN. Thank goodness that you or someone shared a good recording of their performance. I hope you find one for the ULAN song.

And Munimuni is an indie band known for their signature sound of *"makata-pop"* _makata_ translates to 'poet', so all of their lyrics are poetically good, and the voice of the vocalist, Jiao, makes their genre make sense! And _munimuni_ translates to contemplate, to reflect or to ponder. I would suggest listening to their songs such as *Marilag* *Sa Hindi Pag-alala*, *Kalachuchi*, *Sa'yo* & *Tahanan* as much as possible just listen to all of them, isso good!!!!!!

In the Philippines you can't run out of singers even an ordinary filipino citizens definitely can sing that's why many underrated Filipinos are going viral on TH-cam. Singing in the Philippines is a common thing because it's part of our culture and part of our lives especially with special occasions a sort of bonding moment.
I was delighted and was clapping when I heard Efra that you would do a Feature Friday Plus with Mr Pure Energy Gary V. I think that is a great idea. With his over 40 years of Musical Experience, he has the authority to give you information on what Filipino Music is all about. Sometimes I hear Waleska asks about some things that boggles her about Filipino Music Artists, Gary V can help shed light on them.
You can also ask him about his Spirituality, his wisdom, his Philosophy, his experience in having an album in the US. and how has these ahape his own musicality. Also how he works with other artists because everybody in the Philippine Music Industry looks up to him, not only because he is an icon but because he is not selfish in sharing his artistry to every musician that comes and works with him.
