Happy Mother's Day. I like your Lindy Stitches piece. We al have our own debts and s ratched, some more visible than others.
I'm also doing the Country Cottage Needlework monthly cottages. I love your color conversion for January. It really stands out. Can you explain Wipagory? I haven't heard that term before.
I really like your idea of restarting Flea Market Flowers on 25 count. That inspired me to do a large piece on 25 count that I like but have been putting off. Thanks for sharing
Hi Kanday! Thank you again for Mental Health Care SAL and talks. My best friend, thank God, unsuccessfully attempted suicide Friday night/Saturday morning by overdosing on sleeping pills. She has chronic depression and anxiety her whole life. This was not her first attempt at suicide. Recently she was a fraud victim to the tune of $4500 which she had planned to use to go to Michigan from Virginia to be at her grandson's wedding. Then her husband has been waiting for the VA system since November to schedule a bladder biopsy, finally got it done in March only to find that he has a high-grade aggressive bladder cancer. He had to have repeat surgery and, luckily, this time the margins came back clear but he has to have 6 weeks of chemotherapy which also would have interfered with their plans to go back to Michigan. It all just became too much for her and she made the attempt. I have been so worried that something like this would happen. Her daughter left earlier in the week to go back out on the road as she is a trucker's wife who is able to go on the road with him and I talked to my bestie on Thursday. I am so grateful that she was unsuccessful in her attempt again.
On to lighter subjects, your stitching is beautiful as always. You were so productive since you last filmed a floss tube. I have not been nearly as productive and haven't stitched in the last couple of days although I did get the living room, dining room and kitchen floors mopped and the living room rearranged (oh my aching back) on Friday. Saturday, I had Walter from around 10:30 a.m. so today is his day so he and grandma went for several short walks, went to the gas station and store, played outside, and then he took a bath, so we had a pretty full day; then after Walter went to bed about 11 p.m., I laid down to rest my back and fell asleep until 3 a.m.
I hope you had a beautiful Mother's Day. Kristal and Eric are taking us out to a restaurant on the river where you can feed the turtles and fish as a belated Mother's Day present later today, the 19th, so who know if I will get much stitching done today either. Have safe travels and if I don't talk to you before, have a blast at StitchCon, keep that Carolyn on the straight and narrow LOL. Happy crafting. Dawn

25 ct would be perfect . I tend to use 28 Monaco for larger pieces, 1 over 1. It’s all these old eyes can handle. LOL!! Loved your finishes and all of your stitching.
