I can't help but make a connection with your work on Beautiful Things with 2 threads on that 18 count. It's all about acknowledging imperfections, and you did just that and kept going with that fill in. It's got the Kanday touch.

A lot of the ladies gave their experiences at StitchCon and all I know is that it had to be a blast with all the stitchers there together, your table was quite full with some wonderful ladies of whom I subscribe to most of their channels. Oh yes to Essentia water my youngest daughter raved about it for some time and we ( dad & I) tried it and yes was hooked., and now there are flavors, oh yes! Thanks for sharing all your beautiful stitching ! 😊
Glad you are feeling better after your "travel cold". StitchCon sounds (and looks) like so much fun, and I hope you have as much fun at your next retreat, also. On the 1 vs 2 thread issue - when I picked up a WIP recently I stitched a part with 1 thread (my usual on that count), but I had been using 2 strands on that piece, which is now in time out! Happy stitching!
Kandi, I love your 'River' piece. The white stitches on the purple fabric really, really pop. I agree with you I don't think the other two flowrrs are necessary or add anything. Im glad you had such a good time at Stitch-Con we all need to rejuvinate and what better way is there?
I forgot I never finished watching. Tonight was a great night to watch as I bobbinate DMC floss. Sounds like you had a gr8 time at StitchCon. Always love hearing from others on retreats and their take on it.
