The safety valves are apparently lower in game now. On the Jubilee and 8F they're much better. Although I agree its not a fix like you mentioned. Hopefully they get manual firing done soon
I don't think I could handle Steam if I'm honest. Although if I had 10p for every mile along that route I've walked, I could probably afford to buy it :)
Yes. But they're doing the basics first to cater for the majority of the audience and to get the revenues flowing - high speed passenger, commuter passenger, freight & steam for each of US, Germany & UK. What's your definition of "long" ?
Will there be any other steam locos like LNER Pacifics or something or is it not really certain at this moment? Aside from that looking forward to getting hands on with the 4f!
Is it me or are ALL the vehicles (cars and locos) moving too fast for reality? It's the early 1960s and everything's whizzing around! The cars going over the bridges at what looks like 60 mph and the locos move like they're powered by electricity. Is this a conscious decision of the developers to stop younger people becoming bored? Everything was slower then - even in the early 60s!
@@JA17SBLVIIIMVP You continue to ignore the fact that all games have bugs and it is stupid trying to hate on DTG. When Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Microsoft Flight Simulator have bugs.
The steam quality needs attension not good enough for graphics engine. The steam is unexceptalbe on the ureal engine it may be good looking on train sim world but 12 year old graphic not good enough
THe safety valves sound be blowing every time the train stops, the AI or the game needs to balance the fire so the pressure never reaches maximum..

I’m not a steam fan but the route looks stunning. Can’t wait to preview it on my channel tomorrow morning.
DADRAIL YOU SHOULD BE A STEAM FAN!!
@@samuelreading4987 I can appreciate a beautiful locomotive, but driving them in game doesn’t do it for me.

it looks to bright. i hope you can add a contrast and brightness slider in the game
What's with the constant safety value going off?
Will we ever get a present-day, long, non-linear route (or better, a network) that justifies $35.99?
no

network - that's the keyword!
Real life train operations do not run from A to B all day, this game fails to properly simulate real life operations.
The route looks good definitely looking forward to playing it tomorrow and doing some banking with steam
Can we please get American Steam?
Bro fr, I wanna make a heritage consist so badly
Graphics look rather dated.
If you want a look from a enginemans perspective I'll be streaming this tonight 7pm AEST (10AM UTC).

Personally, I'm looking forward to some tank engines
@@musclecat1005 i want the e2 class tank engine.. i would love to make thomas the tank engine livery.
@@musclecat1005 lms fairburn tank would be great for this route as an add on
@@NASCARCHAT24 that could be the single most expensive locomotive add on ever for this game 😂 but would it be worth it PUFFING YES it would
Really wanting some Great Western myself, like a Castle or 48xx

The locos don't seem that fast.
@@potatoman451 no but their acceleration seems phenomenal.
Light engine they could accelerate rather fast, and indeed a rake of coaches isn’t exactly heavy.
Steam locomotives aren't slow.

Yeah
The first puff has no weight at all
The things accelerate way to fast
I love train sim World 2 still.
I assume it will be overpriced again?
£29.99
@@markcovington4761 so yes
Is it layered into spirit of steam?
Is there free play mode
Love the game, hate the ridiculously high prices.
Will we see Her Higness in the wagon in the royal scenario or is it done cheaply ? I fear i already know..

There is something horribly wrong with the trees in this game
Anyone know what time it's released on PC tomorrow?
It's either in the morning or afternoon.

A route that mostly uses the standard class engines and no proper fire stimulation? Nah 👎
Look nice but not for me
No thanks another one im not buying 🤣🤣🤣🤣👎👎👎👎
