The Colca Canyon trek in Peru is one of the best multi-day hikes in South America. An immense canyon, beautiful condors and enjoyable hiking - there are many good things about the Colca Canyon trek! Better yet, getting from Arequipa to Colca Canyon to do the multi-day hike is super easy. All you have to do is join one of the many guided group tours on offer in Arequipa. Of course, it's possible to trek Colca Canyon independently. But, it's hard to turn down the tours when they're so cheap and convenient, particularly the 2 day Colca Canyon tours.
