I've got the Noble Icon in red stitch and have had it for about 6 months now, like you.
I agree with absolutely everything you said here - it's fucking fantastic. I bought a matching foot rest and have also fallen asleep very easily in it on multiple occasions. No back pain at all with 6 to 8 hour sessions in it - even as someone with lower back issues. Supremely comfortable and beautiful to look at and sit in. I'm buying another specifically to use in a racing sim-rig.
This chair absolutely fucking ROCKS. It is German made... so, there's none of this ugly, cheap, gaudy plastic-fantastic crap here with the Noble.
You get what you pay for with this thing and it's worth EVERY penny.

I was just about to pull the trigger on a Vertagear 5000 series, and then you dropped this knowledge on me. Thank you for telling me that I can do better. This has moved to the top of my options short list. Insightful description on the "comfort" feel. And love the "Godfather" look at the beginning.

Note to reviewer, the armrests are angled so if you switch them around (unscrew and swap L to R) they will sit further back so you can rest your elbows on closer to the seat back.

I've spent 20-years in my Herman Miller Aeon chair and some days as long as 15 hours, so I can say that you're just scratching the surface of what a good chair can do. The Embody or Aeon, or Steelcase Leap or Gesture take that experience to another level. Do you think a $1000 or a $1500 chair is expensive? Let's put it in perspective...
For me a chair is like a mattress in that cost doesn't matter because I spend so much of my life in both. How many people can say their chair has lasted 2 decades of every day use? That's over 2000 hours per year, and over 40,0000 hours over the past 20 years and it is still in great shape. And like Brian, I tip the scales at 230+ lbs. At $1000 (my chair wasn't that expensive in 1999) that means my chair cost me less than 3 cents an hour over its lifetime. So, let's say the best chair today costs $1500 and you used it for 5 years. That's still only costs $0.15 cents an hour or a $1.20 a day to use.
Is there anything else less than $0.25 cents per hour that will impact the quality of your life as much? Perspective....

      @rogerhuston8287 5 ปีที่แล้ว

@@badseedtech I'm 6'1" 240,but have been 270 in the past. Type C is good, but I recently found out the seat pan is too long. It comes right up against the back of my knees so I can't put my feet flat I have to put them out in front of and be in a recline. Your 6'4" so that depth may be fine. The seat is 20" deep.
Also the mesh is fantastic for a warm climate, but I now live in the mountains and in the winter that coolness is a negative.

for such an expensive chair, I expected perfection.
this chair is WAY overpriced, I have it, I bought it, this is a very good chair, it was bought for more than 450 us $.
the arm rest are made of cheap plastic, and are not so comfortable even after adjust, the chair is hard rock, its sponge is made of is solid like a rock, a thing that need time to get used to, the pillows are looking nice but practically joke because they fell off all the time so now I am sitting on this chair without them.
for such an high price, I rate this chair 3 out of 5 in my own scale and taste.
    pros:
it is the sexiest looking gaming chair I ever seen.
    very easy to assembly.
made from high quality materials (except the arm rests)
    cons:
Extremely Overpriced - this is the most expensive chair I ever bought in my life, I set on other chairs that cost half the price of my chair that where almost identical if not more, comfortable then the nobelcahirs icon.
price tag of perfection - but not perfect as it should.
arm rests made of cheap plastic- for such an expensive product this is un acceptable.
solid like a rock - getting used to this is hard like getting used to sit on a solid rock on the ground.
bottom line: as a gift this is an awesome chair.
if you are student and looking for something high class , keep looking something else, this is an overpriced product for what you get.
this product shouldnt cost more then 300 us $ for the quality and comfort it has..

Your knees are actually not hitting a perfect 90 degrees (You really should be looking at the hip joint, not the hip as it tells what your hips really doing). Put a pillow under your rear and youll see exactly what i mean. The hips sit a bit lower than the knees due to the bucket seating (its an illusion that you sit at the same height...try following from the hip socket as this is the true way to determine leg orientation). But they are close (closer than a bucket car seat). The chair forces you to have a posterior pelvic tilt so you have to angle the back in order to sit in it. I wouldn't recommend you put this chair any straighter else you're gonna have back problems sooner rather than later.
Bottom line is, these chairs are fine for lounging, but daily use is not a great idea.
