I've known the movie for a long time, and making a cover of the song was always something I wanted to do. And now I could finally realize this by having the honour of my sister Maria participating on vocals.
The idea of the video was to make a cover with a different approach. In the movie it's a very important and emotional scene, as the knights of Arthur believe that after long years of service to Rome, they're finally going back to their homes.
Hans Zimmer managed to portray this emotion through the music with the voice of Moya Brennan. However, the films version is rather short and we felt we should make it a full length song, so we were very happy to discover the song had more lyrics, written by Caitlin Matthews.
We hope you will like the video, as much as we did making it for you!

Awesome job my brother. This is one of those songs that touched my soul from the first time i heard it of course on King Arthur. I live 3 hours from my birth place by car and I think of home when i hear this and it makes me sad and happy that maybe one day i can settle back in my birth home. 5 stars and it is a beautiful video...

Well, it's just some copy-and-paste job.

@@fuckeer2005 the words you are reading I have "typed" using a speech to text app on my phone. IF my phone had space in it's memory on either just the phone or an SD card I could screenshot it. Truthfully I have no idea why it isn't allowing me to copy and paste. I know it all seems ridiculous and if you can't help me that's fine, but it never hurts to ask. I wish I weren't disabled and could just write it out. It seems my disability is annoying both you AND I at this moment.

How the human soul changes with age, experience with the loss of family and friends and the birth of our children and love and love loss.... This song is stuck in my head way to many times, but I only had the option of the film version being stuck there, in which they talk too soon and the song is too short and unfinished. So I'm glad you found more lyrics and put an end to my misery. And great quality btw :-).
